Hair today Gone Tommorrow

Balding is not something anyone would look forward to. Even though we are unable to stop aging we can help ourselves when it comes to hair loss.

Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

7 Homemade Treatments for Hair Loss

By Dan Jacobs

Treatments you make at home can help you avoid hair loss. These are easy and affordable, with none of the harsh chemicals that could only add to the damage. Look through these home remedies so that you can find some that will work for you.

Scalp Massages

Bringing an adequate blood flow to the scalp can help to prevent hair loss. This process might even promote new growth. Give yourself more time when you take your morning shower and give your scalp a vigorous massage. Be sure to use a tender method to dry off your hair also. Bundle it up with a towel rather than harshly rubbing it.

Raw Eggs

Hair loss can be slowed down if you put raw eggs on your scalp. You should mix up three to four whole raw eggs, according to the amount of hair you have. Apply it to your scalp, and wrap your hair up in a towel for 60 minutes. Follow with a rinse and then enjoy your shiny and soft hair.

Repeat this process one time each week. The smell of eggs bothers some people. Apply the eggs in the morning or evening when it is cooler to reduce the strong smell while scalp penetration is taking place.

Heated Olive Oil or Caster Oil

Olive oil doesn't just work in the kitchen; keep it in the shower too. Use your hand to make some of it warm and then rub in on your scalp. If you do this once a week, you will reduce your chances of hair loss. Caster oil will also produce the same results.

Shampoos and Conditioners Containing Herbs

Excellent shampoos and conditioners containing herbs are available. They are designed to prevent hair loss. You can get these on the Internet or at a health store. But be certain to read the components carefully to ensure you are getting excellent products.

Coconut with Lime

Adding the oils from coconut and lime together can help to minimize hair loss. Try alternating it with coconut milk if you experience dry hair. Your scalp and hair will be more hydrated from using it.

Decrease Stress

Life can be very hard for us sometimes. Stress is common, but how we deal with it is an individual process. Stress will continue to build up unless you let it go. You have to identify the stressful situations and do all you can to get rid of them. It might come from family, your job, money, or a mixture of things. Look for a way to deal with stress like exercising or speaking to somebody about the issue.

Alma Oil

Alma oil makes a great shampoo. Boil dry sections of gooseberry with coconut oil. Allow it to cool down before putting on your scalp. It is easy to find these ingredients on the Internet or in a health food store.
