Hair today Gone Tommorrow

Balding is not something anyone would look forward to. Even though we are unable to stop aging we can help ourselves when it comes to hair loss.

Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

Travel Tips That Can Help Change Your Life

By Colin Gauntlet-Hayes

Though many people consider travel to be stressful and unpleasant, it doesn't have to be that way. Getting outside of your normal daily activity can be a rewarding experience, and one that can change your life in large or small ways. Following these tips will help make the journey a positive one.

Financial institutions will generally provide better currency exchange rates than local currency exchange shops. If you are traveling to a foreign country and use an international bank, you can save some money by going to your bank or using one of the bank's ATMs in the foreign country. You might get a better rate than in your own country.

Get in touch with someone who runs a local blog in your destination city. Most often, these bloggers are highly knowledgeable about the ins and outs of their city, and are happy to share tips or tricks, helping you get the most from your trip. Make sure to actually read their site, so you can comment or compliment them on it before asking them for help.

Make the traveling process a little easier by ensuring that you always reserve your seat when you book your flight. If you aren't allowed to, keep going back to the airline or booking engine until you can. You may not like your choices but still select a seat and keep going back to see if you can change it. Also, keep in mind that you are more likely to get an exit-row seat if you check-in early at the airport, because they are not available online. Following these steps will help you get the seat that you desire for your flight.

Try and get as much knowledge of the destination you're going to travel to before you arrive there. You want to have an idea of the things you want to do rather than finally getting to the hotel and feeling lost and bored. You can also ask hotel employees and locals where good places to check out are.

Knowing what to take with you on a trip can be tough and you can often forget important things. Put an hour aside, to sit down a few days before your trip and compile a list of things that you need to take with you. Make a second list of things that you may need, but you are okay without if there is only limited space. Making lists, ensures that you won't forget important items.

Make use of social media when traveling and when planning your trip. Many blogs and online forums have first-hand reviews of the locations you'd like to visit, plus you can ask people directly about their experiences. In addition, if you use sites that allow you to update your status, your friends might have good suggestions on what to do next.

Now that you're wiser about the ways of the world, you can pack your bags and be on your way. Remember the suggestions you've read here, then relax and go with the flow. The world is an open book and it's time for you to add a few pages of your own. What are you waiting for?

Why Does Women's Hair Loss Affect So Many Women?

By Eric Huff

All around the globe, women experience and suffer from loss of their hair in equivalent numbers as men. However when you start looking at the reasons between the two genders, hair loss can happen for more reasons in women. So why is this true for women? Are there any effective preventive measures women can take? Is it surprising to hear that hair loss happens so much in women and for many reasons? We'll talk about the many reasosn women suffer from this debilitating condition.

One obvious cause that we'll point out right away concerns the different treatments involving cancer therapy. Chemotherapy is a widely recognized reason that woman might go bald. Hair loss is traumatic to begin with, and women undergoing cancer treatment can readily find supportive and helpful information in this area. There are charity groups that even offer real-hair wigs for women to wear during the period of hair growth/restoration.

Telogen effluvium is another female hair loss that is seen. This is also called temporary shedding. But the unusual aspect of this is that the shedding occurs at a very quick rate. What happens is that this happens after something that is traumatic. Other possible causes are times of extreme emotional distress. However it's only temporary, and the hair returns and grows back once things are more calm. But, with this type of hair loss, you won't ever know if it will occur with you.

Obviously, mothers experiencing pregnancy for the first time may be a bit alarmed with this. The good news is that, once the hormones even out, the hair loss will stop and your scalp will even out in its hair production. So the main point is to not let it get you too worked-up.

Menopause is one of the leading contributors to women's hair loss. Menopause can be a tremendously difficult time for a woman because of all the changes that are happening. It's quite common for an increase in the amount of hair loss in post-menopause than any other time. The main reason for this phenomenon is due to a drop in estrogen levels and the effect is has on other chemicals. Unlike other types of hormone imbalances, however, in this case the hair loss cannot be brought back through hormone replacement therapy alone. Talk with your doctor about the other options that are available to you. Women's hair loss gets no where near the same amount of awareness as men's hair loss. This is unfortunate because just as many women are affected by hair loss as men. What you've read, today, is just a few out of the many causes of hair loss in women.
