Hair today Gone Tommorrow

Balding is not something anyone would look forward to. Even though we are unable to stop aging we can help ourselves when it comes to hair loss.

Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

Baldness: Eliminate It With Hair Restoration Techniques

By Anthony Devlin

Hair loss can be the most devastating blow to a man or woman's appearance. This is because hair is equated with youth and physical prowess and baldness may make you seem much older. Although men can find it very upsetting to lose their hair, it is the women that are often more devastated by the loss of their hair. There are a number of different hair restoration techniques, and here is a look at some of the most effective methods.

There are a number of reasons for hair loss that can affect which hair restoration method you pick. If you are a man, chances are you are suffering from male pattern baldness, an inherited genetic condition. If you are female, it is more complicated than simple genetics. The causes can range from medical conditions to medications they are taking or even hormonal problems and stress. For women, knowing the reason for the hair loss is critical when picking your restoration method.

In the past, hair restoration methods have ranged from the simply ineffective to the truly unusual. One of the more popular was the idea of increasing blood flow to hair follicles by massaging the scalp. While it felt good, it had very little chance of restoring hair and new methods have since been developed.

Often, people turn to creams and lotions to try and restore their hair. Some of them are very effective at restoring hair. Both men and women can use products to restore lost hair. You need to read the label in order to make sure that you are picking the right one. Since a man and a woman's bodies and systems differ, they actually may find that the product for the opposite gender may be toxic and make them sick instead of helping them regrow hair.

You can also look into hair restoration surgery although this is used most frequently by men. The two most common hair surgeries are hair transplants and hair plugs. A transplant moves skin that contains hair follicles and has a blood supply attached to an area where there is little to no hair. With hair plugs, small groupings of two to three hairs are inserted into hair follicles in areas where they do not grow as thickly. A qualified plastic surgeon or hair restoration expert can help you decide which you will like the best, since they can be painful and you want to make sure you are happy with the method you have chosen. Either method needs to be performed before there is no hair left.

The number of people seeking hair restoration has increased dramatically in recent years. The right restoration methods are critical to making sure you get the results you are hoping for.

Long Term Effects And Solutions For Premature Hair Loss

By John Farikani

There is no doubt that premature hair loss can lead to self image and self esteem issues. For men, it is associated with the loss of virility and the onset of age. For women, it is a socially unacceptable way to look and there are always plenty of stares and whispers that go along with a trip to the mall.

We can't change what others will think of us but we can change what we think of ourselves. We can also realize that no matter what our bodies throw at us, we have more control than we might realize. We have natural sciences on our side.

When you first start noticing that the hair collecting in the tub drain strainer is actually yours and your comb or brush is pulling out twice the amount of hair it used to, you know that you are heading down a slippery slope. Most of us want to know immediately what we can do about it and how fast any potential cure will take to start working.

Take heart. You can now throw down with premature hair loss as the opponent that it really is. While there are a slew of thinning and balding hair products on the internet and in drug stores, think carefully before you act. What you choose right now may very well impact you for the rest of your life.

When you do not have enough essential nutrients in your body that directly relate to the health of your hair, premature hair loss is often the result. Even if you have genetic factors in play, your nutritional health is directly related to what happens to your hair.

From 4 to 6 weeks you should notice that your hair is not only healthier but has returned to the normal rate of fall out that you had before you started losing your hair. After 8 to 12 weeks, you may very well start to notice that your healthy head of hair is growing in once again.

Premature hair loss isn't fun for anyone. The long term effects on the self image are pretty harsh. Without the confidence that comes with knowing you look good, the effort to re-determine your own style and standard becomes much more difficult. Good nutritional efforts are not only healthy on behalf of your hair and scalp, but this is an effort that is fantastic for the entire body.
