Hair today Gone Tommorrow

Balding is not something anyone would look forward to. Even though we are unable to stop aging we can help ourselves when it comes to hair loss.

Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

The Early Signs Of Hair Loss

By Steve Glide

The early signs of hair loss can be helpful for hair loss prevention. There are some really great treatment options of the market that can reverse the early signs of hair loss and give you a boost toward regrowing some of all of the hair that you have lost. It's elementary, really. The earlier you start treating the less hair you're likely to lose.

Some of the earliest signs of hair loss include a noticeable difference of loose hairs that gather in some of the more obvious places. Combs, hairbrushes, sinks, and tub drains suddenly start collecting larger amounts of hair when you start shedding too quickly. Shedding is normal. However, shedding faster than you reproduce hair equals immediate hair thinning. Over time, this means actual hair loss.

So when should you start your treatment plan? All adults will lose enough hair that they will notice just a little bit of thinning. You should start treating the moment you realize that your shedding rate increases.

Being able to treat your scalp at the first sign of hair loss means that you can keep more of your own natural hair for a much longer period of time. It's not uncommon for many men to find that their initial hair issues start in one of three main areas, including the temple area.

Treating your loss of hair is actually rather simple. All it takes is one good product that will give you the ability to prevent further hair loss. With any product there is a percentage of men and women that will do more than just stop the hair from falling out.

Anywhere from 60% to 80% of men and women who use quality products can grow the lost hair back and regain the fullness of the hair that you had before you noticed the initial signs of hair loss.

However, either gender can prevent the continuous loss by learning to recognize the first sign of hair loss. It's important to start treating the scalp as soon as possible to prevent further damage.

The Most Difficult Question For Men, How To Regain Hair Loss

By Peter Albertonach

Millions of American men are losing their hair and worried about it. And millions of men would like to know if it is possible to regain hair loss. Lets consider the causes of thinning hair in men and see whether there is a successful hair loss cure.

The reasons men suffer from balding are varied but there is one cause of thinning hair in men that is far more important than all others. Male pattern baldness, it is estimated, affects around 4 in 7 men.

Not all men who suffer from thinning hair have male pattern baldness. There are various medical conditions, dietary factors, medications and other causes of men's baldness. But despite this if you have thinning hair the chances that the cause is male pattern baldness is high.

In the past it was well-known that baldness in men was inherited by the it was not known by which mechanism male pattern baldness actually operated. It was well-known in the past that men's baldness was inherited but it was not known why the baldness actually occurred. And while it was unknown what the actual mechanism was it was not possible to produce a successful hair loss treatment that allowed men to regain hair loss.

But the mechanism by which men who suffer from male pattern baldness actually lose their hair is now well-known. The male sex hormone testosterone and in particular another male sex hormone called DHT which is derived from testosterone causes the thinning hair. Men who suffer from male pattern baldness have been found to have higher levels of DHT.

The mechanism is that the hormone called DHT gathers around the base of hair follicles and substantially reduces the ability to take in hair nutrients. Good hair health depends heavily on the ability of the hair to take in good levels of essential nutrition and if this does not happen their hair will thin and wither and die.

Once science fully understood how DHT affected hair growth it was possible to develop a successful hair loss cure and the first of these has been approved by the FDA is a male hair loss treatment. It is now possible to regain hair loss This product is named minoxidil and it increases the blood flow to the hair thereby restoring the ability of the hair follicle to take in nutrients. This allows the hair to absorb more nutrients and regain health.

But using minoxidil on its own has now been superseded by better approaches. Once the hair follicle is able to take in better levels of nutrients it is equally important that these nutrients be supplied to the follicle. The new generation of successful hair loss treatments combines the use of minoxidil with a supply of essential hair nutrients as well.

So the big breakthrough came once the operation of DHT was understood and it was then possible to produce a treatment to regain hair loss. But if you're noticing your hair thinning you must act fast because even the best modern hair loss treatment cannot grow hair on a bald head.

The best hair loss treatment does work, if you use it early.

If you act too slow the only way to regain hair loss from male pattern baldness is surgery.
