Hair today Gone Tommorrow

Balding is not something anyone would look forward to. Even though we are unable to stop aging we can help ourselves when it comes to hair loss.

Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

What Could Be the Reasons For Your Hair Loss?

By Amelie R Armstrong

Hair loss can be a real problem because not only is it embarrassing, it's also a real pain and it can sometimes be a serious concern. However, if you're aware of the leading causes of hair loss then you should be able to narrow your symptoms down to find out exactly what's wrong. Losing hair is never a good thing, although naturally we lose around 80 hairs a day.

Whatever you're looking for, it shouldn't be a problem to find items that are worthwhile. There is so much available on today's market that you'll be spoilt for choice. It can sometimes be hard to decide on what is right for your needs though. You'll have to take your time while you're browsing the web to ensure that you're aware of everything on today's market.

Also, chances are, if you're experiencing side effects like losing hair then you're likely to be experiencing other side effects as well. Another leading cause is poor diet. It's surprising how much our bodies need in the way of nutrition and a poor diet of high fat and low fiber foods can really cause problems with your overall health, not just your hair.

There are plenty of hair loss treatments available but most of the time it's caused by too much of something or too little of something. For example, too much hormone (the pill) or too little (a deficiency of some sort). It's important to speak to your doctor if you're ever concerned about rapid loss of hair.

You will then need to consider the type of options available on today's market and do some research to find out which options are best suited to your needs. It can be quite easy to find what you're looking for if you hit the internet and have a good look around.

Just be sure to take care of your body and remember that Google is not necessarily the best place to find information about health. Speak to your doctor and your friends and see if you can come up with a reasonable solution - don't worry too much about it because stress can make it worse!

Mirror, Mirror On The Wall, Please Tell Me How To Stop Those Balding Signs Now!

By John Farikani

Have you come to hate looking into the mirror because you can no longer deny the telltale balding signs you see in front of you every day? That's good, because it means you are no longer in denial. You can go on combing your hair in different ways and pretending it's not happening or you can continue reading and learn how you can reverse hair loss with a simple treatment.

If you are losing your hair, you are not alone. In fact, if you are a man, you are among tens of millions in the United States who are losing their hair through male pattern baldness. While your case may be more or less severe than others, you still can do something about it, so why not start sooner than later?

It's not only men who helplessly sit back and watch their hair disappear. Women suffer from it as well. Women don't usually lose their hair from one area alone but from all over. It's heartbreaking for a woman to see her rich, lustrous head of hair gradually thin out until she is embarrassed to be seen in public without a hat or a wig.

There is now good news for both men and women who want to get their hair back. To understand it better, we need to look at what causes the loss of hair. A natural hormone called DHT is the culprit. What DHT (dihydrotestostrone)does is go through the bloodstream and attach itself to the follicles of the hair and suffocate them. There never used to be a treatment for balding signs, but now there is a safe, effective and proven treatment!

There are several trade names for it, but Minoxidil is the active ingredient in any reversal treatment. It was originally marketed as an oral drug to treat high blood pressure until it was discovered that if applied topically, it has the remarkable ability to reverse the causes of male pattern baldness.

While baldness and severe hair thinning usually occur in women after menopause and does not have the same cause as male baldness, Minoxidil has proven that it works for women as well as men.

The FDA did not approve Minoxidil for use as a hair loss treatment until after it underwent rigorous studies and proved its efficacy and safety. Now it is possible to get a hair regrowth treatment with this as its active ingredient without a prescription. Instead of seeing balding signs every time you look into the mirror, you will see more hair appearing!

When Hairloss Steps In After Pregnancy

By Peter Meier

Oh dear, not only do you look different after having gone through a lot of pain, now your hair wants to fall out. Naturally y you are worried and need to know if this is normal. Fortunately it is and most women goe through the same problem. You have grown a lot more hair during pregnancy because your hormones have increased. Hormone production is now normalizing and whether you like it or not your hair is going back down to the level of growth as before pregnancy.

No woman likes to loose hair, especially not at that quantity. It's bad enough to see the hair gowing on an every day basis. The little hair we lose feels like going bald. Losing hair by the fistful is just too much for most women to handle.

In our society, baldness for women is a lot worse than for men. It's more socially acceptable for men to be bald, while hair is a largely defining characteristic for most women. But societal rules aside, women might feel sickened by their hair loss, feeling as if they're degenerating from some kind of disease.

But hair loss after pregnancy is nothing to be gravely worried about and it's okay to shed like a dog. There's no real cure for pregnancy hair loss, but it's not really something to cure. The only thing you can do about hair loss after pregnancy is to wait until your hormones balance out. In the meantime, you can take care of your hair as much as possible so that you don't leave gross trails of hair in your wake. You can either try to lessen the amount of hair that falls out overall, or you can try to not shed everywhere. Brushing and washing hair makes hair fall out more, so you might do it less often, but it can also get most of the shed hair to come out at that point so that it won't bother you as much during the day.

It could be that your hair still feels different, even after everything is back to normal. Your hormones may have changed a lot of things in your body permanently. It may not be much, but it could be that for instants you texture has changed and there is no way of reversing it. That the way our body makes things work. It may change again with another pregnancy.
