Hair today Gone Tommorrow

Balding is not something anyone would look forward to. Even though we are unable to stop aging we can help ourselves when it comes to hair loss.

Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

How To Get Rid Of Moles Without Stepping Foot In A Hospital

By Carlos Gordon

Mole removal is something many people consider, but before making those appointments with the dermatologist consider trying a natural home remedy. Home remedies are non invasive and can often be made with everyday household items. Remember these are not instant cures but they will show you how to get rid of moles without spending money on doctor visits, co pays and surgical costs.

An unusual, yet effective, way to get rid of mole is by using sour apple juice. The natural acidity breaks down the skin of the mole in the same way over the counter creams do. Apply the juice multiple times a day for at least three weeks for best results.

Onion juice is another natural, but smelly way to remove a mole. The easiest way to apply the juice is to puree an onion and apply it with a q-tip directly on the mole. This treatment should be applied 3-5 times a day.

Speaking of unusual and smelly ways to remove moles; a piece of garlic will also do the trick! Place a small piece of garlic over the mole and cover it with a band aid overnight. You will need to do this for a month for maximum results. Applying garlic juice in the daytime can help speed up the process. Be sure to protect the healthy skin around the mole with oil or Vaseline to prevent burns.

Those with only slightly raised moles find Iodine very effective. Apply the iodine several times a day for a week for best results. Over the week the mole will become extremely dry and flake off leaving a scab. It is important to protect the area around the mole with oil of Vaseline to avoid burning the skin.

The fastest method for removing a mole at home is by using apple cider vinegar. Scratch the mole with a sterilized needle and place a piece of cotton soaked in apple cider vinegar. Keep it on overnight with a band aid. It is extremely important to protect the skin around the mole with Vaseline or oil to prevent burning and redness.

The final method for removing a mole is the most invasive of these at home ideas. The methodology is similar to what doctors do in their offices. Take some dental floss and tie it tightly around the mole. This will cut off the blood supply to the mole and it will fall off in one to two weeks.

The most common way physicians remove moles is to cut all the tissues involved with the mole, then they pull the healthy skin together and stitch it. This may give fast results, but it also leaves scars. The scarring and expense is the main reason most people decide not to get the procedure done. Unlike surgery, these home remedies are not invasive and will not leave a scar. The common denominator in all these options is time. Most these options require more than one treatment in order to get the desired result.

Is There Something You Can Do To Get Your Ex Boyfriend Back?

By Ray Malkson

If you are looking for ways of getting an ex back there are many things to be considered. Everyone has difficulties when it comes to personal relationships and they can often be difficult to get right the first time around. Thankfully there are many strategies to be employed meaning he will be back with you in no time at all.

Start of by assessing anything that went wrong and figuring out how to make changes so that things can really work the next time around. If you cannot identify and work on these then you are condemned to repeat the same mistakes and things will end in much the same way as they did the first time around. You can learn from the time that is spent apart even if it was not what you first planned.

This particular issue is something you can talk over with friends and family as they can often offer an insight into matters like these. This will be a challenging time for you no matter how things go. So, make sure you are supported by people important to you. This makes the challenges ahead easier to address.

If you are looking for strategies to be employed that will surely make them feel jealous, and see you in the way they used to, it is sometimes better to take a subtle approach in this regard. Don't go for the next available male to annoy your ex as this can prove hurtful to you and the other guy who has done nothing wrong in this instance.

You might see this backfire so you are best to think about handling it with a measure of care if you want things to be successful in the long run. Difficulties with other guys will make a reunion something he will not want to consider. So, be careful and try to do the right thing as best you can. There is a tendency for issues of this sort to become unnecessarily complicated and caution prevents this occurring.

Begin by appearing unfazed by the break up. If he can see that you are visibly affected this will put the power in his hands and this is everything that you want to avoid if possible. Think instead about being your normal self who spends time on every day matters and appears like they are living their regular life without changes.

Regularly socialize with both males and females. They need to be able to see you not only enjoying time with friends without them but also in the company of potential boyfriends. Nothing is more likely to renew interest than this. You do not have to be serious about any flirtations you take part in but in being around them you are sending out a clear message.

If someone arises and takes a sudden interest there is no reason for you not to become involved. It is probably best that they know you are not one hundred per cent interested in them, though so that boundaries are established and you can start things up when your ex shows an interest.

Counting Calories Leads To Less Weight

By Tilda Schneekloth

While I ideally do not look to calorie counting when thinking about weight loss, there is not escaping that if you eat too many calories, you put on weight.

Calorie counting seems to be the focus of most people's attempts to lose weight. If you eat fewer calories, you will lose weight. The type of calories has an effect like if you are eating lots of high fat foods or carbohydrates.

Calorie counting just has not worked for me. It gets frustrating after a week and I just stop. It works for few days then I get bogged down.

I wanted something simpler that looked like it would work. I heard of athletes and bodybuilders using "clean eating". It sounded simple so I tried it. It is a term many people have heard of these days.

Foods in their most natural state are considered "clean". They are foods that have had the least done to them. The focus is to eat more of these and not processed foods. This is a change from calorie counting.

You are going have a lot more fruits and veggies on your plate. Meats will be lean and you will eat a lot of fish. This means not going to the local drive through.

There has to be some time you dine out. You can learn to make cleaner choices at restaurants. With these efforts the weight will come off and your energy will rebound from your years eating fats and carbohydrates.

If you have an interest in this lifestyle, there are many places from which to learn more. Books and magazines have been publishes on the topic. Websites from enthusiasts can be found on the internet. Fill yourself up with this information.

100 percent clean eating may not be possible for awhile. I only eat 80% clean. However, you can continue try and increase your percentage. This is an easier goal than counting calories.

Part 4 - A Brief History of Florida

By Robert Nickel

In parts one through three we learned that Florida wasn't always a retirement destination or military outpost. The citrus groves of today were once home to Seminole Indians and Spanish settlers. Florida's interstate highways were once trade routes for Confederate and Union forces, thus making the region a hub of conflict during the American Civil War.

The Florida of the 21st century is undoubtedly not the same place as the Florida of the 16th century. Today the Sunshine State is home to 18.8 million people and the fourth largest economy in the US. Some of the main exports are financial services, trade, tourism, transportation, utilities, manufacturing and construction. Since Florida industry is diverse and not reliant on one area of success, it means the state has a greater chance of surviving any hardship that may come around in the future.

Florida is so much more than its history, yet the state could not enjoy its current success without the adversities of the past. One can find cities bustling with industry right alongside peaceful nature sanctuaries. Many of the continent's most rare and unusual species reside in Florida, making the parks and forests a perfect haven for nature enthusiasts. The flora and fauna of the area is diverse, including magnificent marine mammals, reptiles, land mammals and birds. There is even an spot off the northwestern coast of Florida known for calving for the Northern Right Whale. The Florida Panther can be spotted in some areas, as well as Bobcats, the Florida Black Bear and Mink.

The metropolitan areas offer world class culture, art and entertainment in almost any genre. Theater and music performances are almost daily occurrences in Miami. With nine professional sports teams based in the state of Florida, there is a good chance visitors will find a sporting event to attend no matter what time of year it is. World class golf courses are rampant throughout the land, and suited to any skill level. NASCAR also has its roots in Florida. Daytona Beach is a popular destination for auto enthusiasts, as well as the Florida Sports Hall of Fame.

No matter where you arrive in Florida, there is always something going on or waiting to be discovered. The history we have imparted here is just a brief look at who and what events helped make the state what it is today. One can only get a genuine feel for its culture by living it! Head down to the Sunshine Coast for a bit. See the beaches, discover the historic monuments and feel the warmth that is Florida!

A Look At Alternative Therapies

By Anju Mathur, MD

Doctors who have not gotten the results they want from traditional medicine tend to be pioneers and often find solutions in alternative medicine. Natural therapies have been in use for many years, and some have come up with proven success in treating patients who have not been helped by conventional doctors. As advances in alternative medicine yield success after success, these therapies often become mainstream.

For example Chelation therapy has been around since the 1940's. It is an IV drip that delivers antioxidants to the bloodstream. The antioxidants attach to toxins and heavy metals which can then be eliminated. Therapies that use IV drip circumvent the problems of failure to absorb nutrients from food, which occurs in some diseases.

Another type of IV drip therapy is directed tohandling the immune system. A high dose of vitamin C, B complex, magnesium, trace minerals and glutathione is infused to the body and has been very successful in treating pneumonia, flu, stress, stomach disorders, shingles, mononucleosis, Lyme disease and a myriad of chronic illnesses.

A high dose vitamin C infusion delivers from 25,000 to 100,000 mg of vitamin C to the body. This is used in various viral infections including herpes, shingles, Epstein Barr virus and sometimes is used in treating cancer patients.

Glutathione Therapy, delivered by IV drip, is given to patients who require high amounts of antioxidants. This would include patients with Parkinson's disease, acute viral infections and heart conditions.

Some patients cannot usefully absorb nutrients from food and thus supplements taken by mouth are of no use. This causes nutritional deficiencies. An effective treatment in these cases is Amino Acid IV Therapy.

PlaqueX Therapy does what the name suggests. It removes the plaque build up inside arteries by using a natural substance. An IV drip delivers a combination of essential phospholipids specially formulated for IV administration. Phospholipids are primary constituents of the membranes that surround our cells, protecting and controlling what enters them. Among the most essential phopholipids is phosphatidylcholine, which is the backbone of PlaqueX. As we age, production of these phospholipids falters, which has adverse effects throughout the body. PlaqueX therapy replenishes the body's supply of these crucial building blocks

PlaqueX may be the most important of these IV therapies because it has far reaching effects on the heart and circulatory system. In addition to decreasing plaque deposits in the arteries, it improves exercise tolerance, reduces angina attacks, lowers cholesterol and tryglycerides levels, boosts circulation, increases kidney function and increases male potency.

These are all natural therapies, because they use infusions of things that the body produces naturally, or obtains from food. Hence, there are no side effects. Much safer than pharmaceuticals, where of ten the side effects negate the "cure."
