Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

Want To Know The Causes Of Hair Thinning In Men?

By Peter Albertson

If you are a man who is worried about the possibility of baldness then you need to know a little more about the causes of thinning hair in men. Because there are some well recognised causes of hair thinning and now it is possible to do something about most of them.

It is reasonably well-known that the causes of thinning hair in men are a little different to the causes of hair thinning in women. By far the biggest cause of thinning hair in men is androgenic alopecia, which you may know as male pattern baldness. This is a condition which you inherit from your forebears which means that you are genetically predisposed to hair loss. But this doesn't guarantee that you will lose your hair. Even if your father and grandfather were both bald you may not be, they your chances are high.

Statistics show that around 4 out of 7 men will carry the gene for androgenic alopecia. Somewhere around 70 percent of men will experience some form of balding during their lifetime and a quarter of these will start to see thinning hair by the age of 30. By the age of 60 around 60 percent of men will suffer some hair thinning.

There are other causes of thinning hair in men but androgenic alopecia is the principle cause. Other causes of hair thinning include various medical conditions and medications such as chemotherapy. For anyone suffering from thinning hair are visit to the doctor is always worthwhile to eliminate the possibility of a medical problem.

If you are on any medications you ought ask your doctor about the possibility that the medication may be causing some form of hair loss. Hopefully your doctor. would have already discussed that with you.

Stress can cause hair loss, though this can be temporary, and poor diet can also cause hair loss. The Western diet high in red meat consumption is known to result in higher rates of hair loss.

It seems clear that by far the most common cause of hair thinning in men is male pattern baldness. The question is, if you're suffering, what do you do about it? Luckily there are some answers, however it is important to get onto the problem as soon as you become aware of it.

Luckily the actual mechanism by which the hair is lost as a result of the genetic predisposition is now known. Basically it comes down to male hormones. The good news for men suffering from baldness is that they are chock full of the male hormone testosterone. But it is not the testosterone causes the problem, it is actually another hormone called DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) that is derived from testosterone that is the cause of the problem.

DHT is created from testosterone and DHT attaches itself to the hair follicles and reduces the ability of the hair follicles to absorb essential nutrients. And men who suffer from male pattern baldness have a greater amount of DHT in their hair follicles.

Once science discovered this was then it was able to produce a cure, and the result was the first product approved by the FDA as a male hair loss treatment called minoxidil. Minoxidil has been proven to be effective in treating most cases of male pattern baldness, though of course not all.

It is possible to get minoxidil under a range of different product names however one company has produced a more successful approach to hair loss treatment using minoxidil. Minoxidil increases blood flow to the scalp allowing hair to take in more nutrients, and this company also supplies a range of essential hair nutrients by means of supplements so that once the hair is able to take in proper nutrients again those nutrients are available to it.

Using minoxidil combined with hair nutrients is more successful than using minoxidil on its own.

As you can see there is a range of causes of hair loss in men, however the vast majority of men are simply suffering from genetically inherited male pattern baldness which if left untreated will continue until, for most men, some degree of baldness becomes evident.

Luckily there are treatments and if you want to find out which treatment combines the use of minoxidil with hair nutrition visit my website.

Select A Natural Hair Loss Treatment And Save Yourself A Lot Of Stress

By John Farikani

Most men take hair loss in their stride, but do they know that this process can be stopped quite easily using a natural hair loss treatment?

My life could not be bothered by the increasing amount of hair that ended up going into my drain until the day my eye caught a large bald spot on my head. Panic stations all round as I examined every inch of my scalp in the mirror with horrifying results - I was loosing all my hair!

If you are of the opinion that hair loss is not such a big problem, you obviously never faced this dragon with all of its fears and confusions. It dawned upon me that I had to make a plan immediately.

How do you tackle this embarrassing problem of hair falling out?

My hairdresser smiled at my worried face and calmed me down with a couple of well kept secrets she shared with me. Most important secret would be to relax as stress will hasten the hair falling out quite a lot. Another secret came in the form of a natural hair loss treatment she picked up from her shelve. I felt better immediately.

The chemist told me that hair loss is a natural process associated with DHT, a by product of testosterone breaking down inside me. The treatment would stop this DHT from destroying my hair follicles and resulting hair loss. It sure did. Within a few short weeks I had new hair sprouting on the dead spots and the rest of my hair stayed put.

With my new hair follicles being quite fragile, the product supplied my body with all the nutrition and minerals my hair would need to grow back strong. This supplementing of vitamins and minerals I never took before, gave me a second boost that also lifted my energy levels and gave me a healthy skin. What more could a man ask for?

If you care for your hair, rather get yourself a natural hair loss treatment today and start using it immediately - no need to wait until you have no more hair to care about.

The Loss Is Not Fair - Just Regrow Your Hair

By Andrew M. Nicola

Everybody wants to look nice and attractive. That can take a big effort sometimes. One very important part of our body is the head and just on top of this is our hair. You might have a hard time to style it the way you like it all the time. But it gets even worse if you start losing your hair. Mostly one considers the hair as important part of the body since one has simply grown up with it, so a sudden loss is not comfortable at all.

The good news is that it is never too to start caring about your hair. If you think it has already started to fall off, so it might be too late to prevent it from doing that, you are simply not right. On the contrary, even if you already look quite bald, it is still not too late to stop your hair from falling off. It is really possible to let your hair remain where it should be, just on top of your head. There are multiple techniques possible that can be used as hair growth treatment. Some of them are natural and some of them rather based on a special medicine. But there is no doubt that most of them actually work.

The natural ways of giving your hair a nice treatment reach from having food rich in vitamins each day to massaging your scalp regularly. You should just start to have a healthy and balanced diet. People know that a healthy diet affects the look regarding the belly fat and so on, but people usually do not know how much food can also influence our hair structure and even stop or reduce hair loss. Hair is protein, thus a diet low in protein may cause thinning in hair or retardation. Furthermore also too much stress or even a lack of sleep can have a bad effect on your hair. One can see that even improving the lifestyle can be a hair growth treatment.

Food supplements can not only strengthen your hair, but also help you to achieve a good health in general. But there are also some negative side effects of too many vitamins. So one has to be a bit careful about not taking an overdose regularly, your body will not be able to digest that. It has been scientifically proven many times that food supplements can in fact be very helpful for your health and in some cases they are even necessary to prevent you of getting serious diseases. Even if the diet is balanced some people might need some extra vitamins and minerals since the human body sometimes deals with them a bit inefficiently. There are also special mixtures available that combine many vitamins and minerals just adapted to maximise the benefits on you hair.

Supplements are used widely, but especially some men get prescribed medicine in addition in order to stop their hair loss. One example is Minoxidil that is both a treatment for high blood pressure and hair growth. About 60 per cent of patients benefit from it. Other treatments block the effects of the male hormones. This has shown to halt further hair loss and promote re-growth of scalp hair in approximately 80 per cent of patients after three to six months. But almost daily there are new advances in methods for hair growth treatment.

How can one decide about what treatment to choose? Mainly this depends on your money, your condition and your wishes. Some people might even accept the hair loss as natural phenomenon and do not care so much, but others might say that if it is possible to stop the loss one should not hesitate to do so. It is your personal decision. But before deciding one should find out more about the various possible hair growth treatment approaches.
