Hair today Gone Tommorrow

Balding is not something anyone would look forward to. Even though we are unable to stop aging we can help ourselves when it comes to hair loss.

Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

Living A Healthy Way Of Life For Students In College

By Jimmy Creep

Many people believe that the best time of a person's life is when they are in college. It is your time to make mistakes, meet new people, try new things, and generally make the transition into adulthood.

However, a lot of people end up putting on weight because of poor diet and exercise habits. This will most probably worry you.

Don't have a conniption. Just eating right and exercising can ward off the pounds.

This is especially important for freshman because they can easily get caught up in the excitement of their new lives and might pick up quite a few bad habits. They pick the worse stuff in the cafeteria to eat, do nothing but and lounge around in their dorm rooms in their free time, and generally act like big slobs. This is a no-no.

Prevent your schedule from becoming too hectic why you're in college. Make time for friends, make time for your studies, and make time for exercise. This is the first step to assuring that you live a healthy college lifestyle.

Walk whenever you can, and don't take the bus just because it's there. Leave a little bit early for that class you have as all the way across campus and walk there. Treat fast food like it's kryptonite and you're Superman. Ignore the big cheesy slice of pizza calling your name and eat a salad.

The college lifestyle is not the optimum state for the digestive tract. Therefore, you should avoid eating one or two really big meals a day and focus instead on eating smaller meals throughout the day. Try to eat happily, even if it digs a little into your pockets.

Online health stores have more tips for you. The information is out there; if you really want to be healthy, it is not that hard. You'll feel great when all your friends are packing on the pounds and you still look as great as you did the day you started college.

Lifestyle That Could Result To Weight Loss

By Rachel Keys

Looking to lose weight? Not making any progress. I may be able to tell you why. I am going to explain 3 common myths that leave people wondering why the needle on the scale hasn't changed.

1. Drink plenty of water

Despite what you think, you need water. People are concerned about water weight...well, if you don't drink water than your body holds on to the water it is made up of, and that is the dreaded water weight we all have. 3-8 pounds to be exact.

So do yourself a favor and drink up! You know you have drunk enough when your urine is clear or a light yellow.

2. Starvation to drop the weight quicker

This could not be further from the truth. By starving yourself, you are creating an unneeded battle with your body. You stop eating, the body fights harder not to let go of the weight. This is why so many people get frustrated with not losing the weight. You do not want your body to go into starvation and keep on the pounds so do yourself and your body a favor, and eat!

3. Eating big meals keeps you less hungry longer

NO THE WAY TO DO IT! The body needs tinier many meals for nutrition and substance. There are a couple reasons for this. Smaller meals take allow you to have a quicker metabolism since it does not need to digest as long.

As you digest food, you burn fat. Sounds the opposite would be taking place, but it is true. So by eating tinier meals more frequently, the more fat is burned. You can eat the same amount of food you would eat in 2-3 big meals, but just stretched out.

If you take my advice and remember these three tips, your weight toss journey should be a lot easier.

Mind Movies To Help You Reach Your Goals

By Phoebe Whiteside

It is easy enough to tell someone to "think positive" and assume that they will be able to do just that after experiencing the worst bad luck for that day, but there is a way to try and focus on those positive thoughts without having to struggle to dig them up from the recesses of your mind. Mind movies are literally what their name describes them to be, movies of your mind that can positively make an impact in your life by injecting that much needed positive boost you need.

The 2006 film "The Secret", based on the same titled book, promotes the concept of the Law of Attraction as something that people should try to incorporate into their daily lives. By controlling thoughts to be positive when it comes to focusing on life, the positive energy is ultimately released to influence positive chances. In other words, you will actually encounter the right kind of people or be in the "right place at the right time" in every situation, thereby significantly improving your life with more positive results in all of your ventures.

This type of positive thinking requires heavy concentration to remain focused on those positive thoughts. If one wants to send out the exact, well targeted thoughts to the universe, he or she must be well in tune with what exactly the ideal concept of life is in his or her mind's eye.

For some individuals it is very hard to keep a distinct vision on their minds that fully emphasizes their desires for their ideal life. This is where mind movies are useful, as these can help to literally create a visual version of the exact concept that one is hoping his or her life will become.

A mind movie will ultimately keep the vision of a perfect life distinct, detailed, and solidly imprinted in one's mind as he or she already knows what the ultimate goal looks like. For example, the house that one aims to have someday, or the car that is perfect in one's mind, these need mental pictures to be manifested into positive thoughts that can be sent out as a beacon to the universe and steer that magnetic attraction towards the sender.

With the busy lives that many people lead, there is rarely any time to actually sit down, breathe deeply, and meditate on one's ultimate positive life goals. By having the images of a mind movie clearly set and saved for future reference, even the most forgetful and scattered mind can be guided to remember the ultimate purpose that all this positive thinking has been designed for, and one can send out those positive images to the waiting universe and just watch the answers to begin revealing themselves naturally.

Methods That Keep You From Balding & Rapidly Increase Hair Regrowth

By Angel Dunn

Baldness impacts men as they age. Based on what the College of Maryland Medical center asserts, almost 25 percent of men begin to suffer from baldness by the point they are Thirty years old, and two out of three men are either absolutely bald or have a particular bald pattern when they're 60 years old. Even though alopecia with men can most be attributed to aging, psychological stress will also accelerate alopecia. Some men do not mind being bald, others care enough to be dealt with.

There's an FDA licensed solution called Minoxidil, which is available without visiting a doctor to treat male pattern hair-loss. The solution is available in two strengths and either liquid or froth and is to be applied directly to the scalp two times each day to excite the expansion of new hair and forestall more baldness. Based primarily on Mayo Clinic research, new hair that grows with minoxidil treatment might be more thin but typically it may be satisfactory to cover hairless areas. Minoxidil treatment works to grow new hair only while actively using the product ; after you stop the treatment hair growth will stop.

Male-pattern hair-loss may also be treated with finasteride which is available by prescription. Finasteride is a medication that's taken by mouth daily. It not only avoids future hair fall but also enables replenishment. The treatment must be taken for a few months, according to the highly rated Mayo Clinic. According to MedlinePlus, if using finasteride for one year does not end up in new hair growth, continuing to take it at this point is not much use.

The hormone dihydrotestosterone causes hair follicles to shrink and hair to fall out in men as a reaction to testosterone conversion but finasteride halts this conversion. Finasteride may cause lower sex drive and function in rare circumstances.

One can treat hair-loss with hair transplants or scalp reduction. When a hair transplant is done, a cosmetic surgeon removes skin plugs that have a couple of hairs from areas of the head that contain hair, and implant them where hair loss is. Many appointments could be required to finish a hair transplant, so it can be quite dear. You might experience agony with this method.

Scalp reduction, which costs equally as much and is distressing, is composed of cutting over the parts of the scalp that does not have hair and putting together the parts of the scalp that contain hair to close the space. The two operative strategies are not totally safe as there's a fear of infection as well as blemish.
