Hair today Gone Tommorrow

Balding is not something anyone would look forward to. Even though we are unable to stop aging we can help ourselves when it comes to hair loss.

Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

Why Are My Eyelashes Falling Out?

By Kate Minogue

Your eyelashes will fall off once they reach the end of their life cycle. Hairs die off, grow, and just stay dormant all the time at their own rates. Each hair follows it's own schedule. This is perfectly normal and is called ciliary madarosis.

However, if your eyelashes are falling off in great numbers, there may be a medical issue that needs to be fixed. Lash loss can be caused by infections, hormonal imbalances, and irritation.

If your eyelashes are falling out from vigorous rubbing, try to use a makeup remover that works without rubbing. You should also switch to non waterproof mascaras which are easier to remove. If you use an eyelash curler, try not to curl to close to your lash line since this can tug on your lashes. An occasional pull won't do much harm, but curling your eyelashes everyday can cause them to fall out.

Infections are another common cause of your eyelashes falling out. A Staphylococcus aureus infection could not only cause your eyelashes to fall out, but also grow back in different directions. Parasitic mite infections and syphilis are other common eye infections that cause lashes to fall out.

Your eyelashes can also be falling out due to alopecia and hypothyroidism. Your lashes are growing less frequently and are more brittle and fragile.

Another common causes of eyelash loss can be from drugs such as chemotherapy. Cancer patients lose their eyelash hairs just like the rest of the hairs on their body when they undergo treatment.

The first step in stopping your eyelashes from falling out is the determine the underlying cause. Once that's taken care of, concentrate on stimulating new growth so your new lashes can be as healthy, thick, and long as possible.

Eyelash growth products such as LiLash can make your eyelashes look longer naturally. LiLash's doctor formulated and clinically tested formula will grow results in as little as 2 weeks.

LiLash has other uses besides being an eyelash stimulator. It also acts as a lash conditioner to protect the lashes that you still have. LiLash will keep your lashes from breaking off so even if you wear extensions or fake lashes, they'll look fuller, healthier, and longer.
