Hair today Gone Tommorrow

Balding is not something anyone would look forward to. Even though we are unable to stop aging we can help ourselves when it comes to hair loss.

Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

Hair Loss in women

By Leigh Martin

Hair loss; it's never a pleasant experience. It is more common in men than women, but everyone is at risk. Not only does a person have to deal with masking or making the best of the situation, they may feel emotions such as embarrassment, shame and even panic.

Women have been praised, loved and sometimes worshiped for their beauty. Every woman has her own beauty and her hair plays no small part. Hair loss in women can be devastating. As women age, they must come to terms with skin that is a little looser than they would like, body parts that are less firm, and for some, hair loss.

Studies have been taken of both men and women and the results showed that women suffer emotionally and psychologically more so than men. Women worry more about hair loss than men do. As much as it hurts a women's self-esteem, female hair loss treatment can be an option.

Many researchers are hard at working studying the exact reasons of hair loss. Interestingly, hair loss in women occurs for reasons that differ from hair loss in men.

Hair loss in women is not uncommonly the result of other physical problems. Health conditions such as anemia, thyroid issues and some chronic illnesses directly lead to hair loss.

So before looking into unnecessary female hair loss treatment seek medical attention for a proper diagnosis. Yet treatments should be considered if no medical conditions were detected. You may have a genetic disorder that results in a buildup of DHT.

DHT is not life threatening, but it will create hair loss in women and requires treatment to stop the problem. DHT build-up occurs when testosterone comes in contact with enzymes in the hair cell. DHT is created, kills the hair follicles and causes the hair to fall out.

As you can see, hair loss in women can be rather traumatic. There are many reasons why hair loss occurs, but that does not mean that it must be the end of your self esteem and outward beauty. Look at it as a challenge to make a new "you.
