Hair today Gone Tommorrow

Balding is not something anyone would look forward to. Even though we are unable to stop aging we can help ourselves when it comes to hair loss.

Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

Is Hair Transplant Painful?

By Jessica Belucci

A lot of people considering going through hair transplant operations are curious whether the surgical process is going to hurt them. Often individuals have sensitive scalps and the thought of somebody making cuts there seems hard to think about for these individuals. Whether or not hair transfer surgical procedure is uncomfortable is a subject of argument.

Some say that hair transfer surgical process is similar to a visit to the dentist. This is unquestionably something that can be painful at times and definitely is not very relaxing. The local anesthetic agent injections in the tender skin of the scalp before the hair transplant begins are somewhat painful. Everyone who has ever had a tooth removed knows if the tooth is numbed properly, the removal itself doesn't hurt, but that needle going in to numb it is torment!

Continuing with the dental analogy, after the numbness lessens, it will be quite sore where the tooth used to be. With hair transplant surgery, there is pain after the surgical operation as well. You may not be able to work right away after hair transplant surgical operation due to puffiness. Whatever people might say but that the pain experienced during hair transplant is not equal to that felt when removing a tooth. Hair transfer pain is decidedly less sharp and some do not even feel it as pain at all, numerous individuals simply feel it as an uncomfortable feeling. A few doses of Tylenol is all that is required to resolve pain in the remote event of any patient irritation.

Yet some say they experienced no pain during the hair transplant regiment and found the local anesthesia bearable. In fact they often watch television or read magazines, being conscious and alert the whole time. Hair transfer surgical procedure has a come a long way and is much less painful than it used to be when larger segments of the scalp were removed. This required more cutting to take out the donor hair and more cutting to insert the donor hair into the recipient site.

Hair transplant surgical operation was a very painful procedure in the past. Not all physicians have made the entire switch to newer methods, this is why you need to ask questions as you plan for a hair transplant. The latest hair transplant techniques that utilize donor graftings focus only on the follicle and ignore nearby tissue. The hair transplant procedure has been refined so it is minimally intrusive now and troubles as little of the scapl as possible, which importantly reduces the amount of pain required.

When having a hair transfer, it is most importnt to have a skilled and experienced surgeon in order to reduce the pain of the surgical procedure. A doctor who is aware of the best method to dispense the process will make it less painful and give you more positive outcomes as well.
