Hair today Gone Tommorrow

Balding is not something anyone would look forward to. Even though we are unable to stop aging we can help ourselves when it comes to hair loss.

Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

Hair loss is one of the most common problems, and also the most difficult to tackle. While healthy hair indicates good general health, hair loss can be an indicator of a deeper internal health problem. A deficiency in vitamins B1 and C including lysine and iron can lead to hair loss. The antioxidants in vitamin C are helpful in making the skin and hair healthy by improving the metabolism and by helping in the conversion of fats into carbohydrates for energy. It can be found in citrus fruits, pineapple, strawberries, green peppers, tomatoes, potatoes and some green leafy vegetables. 60 mg is needed daily for better health. Vitamin B1 or thiamine helps in protein building which makes the hair healthier as evidenced by the volume and texture. This can be achieved through the scalp's nutritional intake. Female hair loss can be prevented by taking in regular amounts of biotin, niacin, inositol and vitamin E.

Female hair loss can also prevented by minerals such as iron, zinc and magnesium. They can be found in citrus fruits, green vegetables, strawberries, pineapple, potatoes, kiwi, soybean, vegetable oil, dried beans, raw seeds, brewer's yeast, wheat germ oil, whole grain, liver, eggs, rice, fish, milk, chicken, turkey and red meat. Hair loss can also be prevented by other products, namely nettle root, saw palmetto, gotukola, pumpkin, uva-ursi, eleuthero, muria puama and the likes.
