Hair today Gone Tommorrow

Balding is not something anyone would look forward to. Even though we are unable to stop aging we can help ourselves when it comes to hair loss.

Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

A Successful Way For Creating Handmade Soap

By Carrie Rusgart

The creation of handmade soap has been a hobby since factories began producing the product in bulk. Many who practice this craft swear that washing with the kind that they have made is better than washing while using a kind that was bought at a store. Creating it yourself adds a personal touch that's irreplaceable.

There's a variety of varying ways to create this craft. The following is a way that's safe and does not cost very much money. It is also safe and can be finished in a reasonably short amount of time.

The method calls for the purchasing of a few unscented bars and then cutting them into smallish chunks before weighing them. Most molds that are sold for this purpose hold around two pounds or liquid in them. Then melt the chunks in the microwave until they are completely liquid. The essential oil of the desired scent is then stirred into the liquid, adding about 0.4 ounces of the oil per pound of the chunks. To add some color, use safe dyes that are made just for this project.

Small, solid items can be added to the liquid so that it will be stuck inside the bar when it hardens. As an example, a small-sized toy could be thrown into the mold, making a prize for the child who uses the bar. Flower petals are sometimes used, as well, to add an additional scent.

After pouring the liquid into a mold, let it cool after wrapping the mold in plastic wrap. The mold can be left on the kitchen counter or placed in the fridge. Do not put it in the freezer, for this will destroy the creation.

If end result is messed up and you hate the idea of the materials going to waste, the you can re-batch the bar of handmade soap. Re-batching is the fixing of a sub par bar by shredding it with a grater and then melting it over again. After you've done this, you may add more essential oils or dyes to repair the bar or alter it.
