Hair today Gone Tommorrow

Balding is not something anyone would look forward to. Even though we are unable to stop aging we can help ourselves when it comes to hair loss.

Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

All About Hair Loss In Women Saint Louis

By Lou Mullen

Hair loss in women Saint Louis has left many experts confused and frustrated because they do not know exactly what is causing it or how to stop the symptoms. This condition in females affects over thirty million people all over the world.

Many physicians agree that it is caused by things such as genetics and medical reasons that include thyroid disorders, autoimmune diseases, cancer treatments, psoriasis, and dermatitis. It could be caused by significant weight issues, unhealthy diets, frequent hairstyling, and stress. Some conditions are permanent and others are temporary.

Symptoms in males are different than females. Females usually have thinning at the crown and at the top of the head, and widens down the center. In females, the front hairline remains and in males it usually falls out. In most females, the condition usually does not lead to complete or near baldness unless it is caused by a medical treatment.

Most people lose about one hundred strands on a daily basis. On a human head, the follicles shed in three cycles. Follicles grow, shrink, and then go dormant. Each strand grows around one half an inch monthly. Each strand grows between two and six years. After that time, the strand will go dormant and fall out. Typically 85% of the strands are growing while 15% is resting.

Each individual must learn about what is specifically causing the condition because each person is different. In some people it can be cause by pulling and twisting, and in others in is caused by aging, iron deficiencies, or skin diseases. Consulting with a doctor is the easiest way to determine if it is caused by harmful habits, medical problems, or genetics.

It is also important to be careful with and take care of the scalp and each strand. The follicles and scalp can be damaged beyond repair. For example, if a person wears a hat most of the time, it can cause friction or stress and can destroy the follicles. Pulling and twisting strands can also damage the follicles.

The best way to learn about how to identify, treat, and stop hair loss in women Saint Louis is to speak with a doctor. Doctors can help determine what is causing the condition, available treatments, and prevention methods. Treatments can include things such as pills, home remedies, implants and creams.
