Hair today Gone Tommorrow

Balding is not something anyone would look forward to. Even though we are unable to stop aging we can help ourselves when it comes to hair loss.

Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

Splendidly Excellent Homemade Facials with Oatmeal

By Celine Brooks

Many people like their skin treatments to use natural ingredients. Why spend money at the spa when ingredients in your kitchen cupboards can give you the same results? For some people, it's about saving money while others have skin that's sensitive to the chemicals found in store bought products. Still others make their own because they prefer natural ingredients. Look into facials that use oatmeal, which is great for the skin. Here are a few oatmeal facial recipes that you can use.

Warm up half a cup of purified water in your microwave for a couple of minutes. While the water warms up, mix instant oatmeal, some honey, cinnamon, and toddlers milk together in a bowl. Add the heated water to the bowl of ingredients and mix to create a paste. Test the temperature of the paste and, if you think your face can handle it, apply the paste to your face. Avoid your eyes, but otherwise spread evenly over your face.

This next recipe is great for dry skin. Mash a ripe banana and mix it with a cup of oatmeal. This makes a really thick mixture that you can thin to a creamy paste with milk. Let this mixture sit for about fifteen minutes after spreading on your face, taking care to avoid the area around your eyes. After it's sat for the fifteen minutes, use some clean water to rinse it off. Voila! Your skin should feel really moist and good.

For the next recipe, you need to combine a quarter cup of oatmeal, a quarter cup of almonds, a tablespoon of cornstarch, and a tablespoon of chamomile tea. Blend all of these ingredients together in your blender or in a food processor and then put the mixture into glass jars. To use, place a couple teaspoons of the mixture on your hand and form a paste with a bit of water. Then spread on your face in circular motions using your fingers. Use warm water and a soft washcloth to rinse your face after spreading the paste evenly over your face, avoiding your eyes.

One rather easy oatmeal facial entails simply blending together a whole egg, some cooked instant oatmeal and a tiny portion of olive oil. Blend these three ingredients until you have a soft paste. Smear the paste over your face and let it dry. Just after the mask has dried clean your face with some lukewarm water.

You can easily make these recipes and probably already have all of the necessary ingredients. Making your own facials will save you money while giving you beautiful skin. Considering you can get the same results in the comfort of your home, why spend extra money at a spa?
