Hair today Gone Tommorrow

Balding is not something anyone would look forward to. Even though we are unable to stop aging we can help ourselves when it comes to hair loss.

Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

Possible Solutions To Male Baldness Problems

By Karl Howard

For many men, hair loss is an unfortunate reality that can begin as early as their late teens or early twenties. Others don't start seeing hair loss until their forties or fifties.

However, hair loss is generally seen as a sign of old age. Because of this, there's a stigma to having hair loss. Many men choose to seek treatment, in order to have hair regrow and avoid this stigma.

Old age isn't the only reason that hair is sometimes lost, however. Some diseases may also cause hair loss.

Cancer is the most well known of these diseases, but it is far from the only one. Hair loss is not uncommon after even minor diseases or minor surgery. You can also lose hair as a side effect of taking medicine, such as some antidepressants.

If you are losing your hair, you are likely hoping for a miracle cure. Unfortunately, there isn't one.

The most common treatments used are topical. These are creams, such as Rogaine, available in most pharmacies. They are applied to the scalp and cause hair regrowth -- and also cause scalp itchiness. Plus, you have to keep using them or the hair loss recurs. Because you are constantly having to buy medicine you can see that this would get expensive quickly.

A more economical option is a pill, such as propecia, that causes hair to regrow. It only works for maybe half of those who take it, however, and also has to be taken for the rest of your life or the hair loss will resume.

For other people, changes in lifestyle can stop or even reverse hair loss. Eating less fat, and avoiding stress, are two techniques that some have found beneficial.

In fact, work-related stress is a very frequent cause of hair loss. Reducing stress is one of the most effective hair loss treatments around. Why not take a week's restful vacation and see if that doesn't make a difference, before spending a bunch of money on prescription medicines you'll need to be on forever?

Beyond this, remember the "three P's" if you are hoping to treat baldness: patience, proven treatments and pictures.
