Hair today Gone Tommorrow

Balding is not something anyone would look forward to. Even though we are unable to stop aging we can help ourselves when it comes to hair loss.

Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

Factors That Make A Person Qualified A For A Tooth Implant

By Harold Chan

True, people are not obliged to replace their missing tooth. But there are many occasions when this is the most desirable thing to do. Not only will it make them confident, but it will also improve their speech and prevent further damages in the jawbone. Thanks to the recent procedures for the replacement of missing tooth, people can now have lasting dental fixtures through tooth implant or more commonly known as tooth implant.

A dental implant is a surgical procedure wherein fixtures of titanium are inserted into a person's jawbone. The titanium fixture holds one or more prosthetic teeth. People who may undergo this procedure are those who have sufficient bone around their missing set of teeth. A bone graft, however, can be performed so others who have not sufficient bone around their missing teeth can still undergo this procedure.

People who are eyeing a tooth implant should take note that it takes six months or more to accomplish such procedure. They have to wait that long to make sure that the bone grows in and around the titanium fixture. This is to make sure that the implant is strong enough to sustain the daily functions of the implant.

The three types of tooth implant includes the root form implant, the plate form implant, and the subperiosteal implant. Surgeons frequently use root form implant when conducting dental implants. This type of dental implant procedure is applied when a person has enough width and depth in his/her jawbone.

When a person has a narrow jawbone, plate form implant is employed. Instead of utilizing a replica of the root of a tooth, this type of implant is rather long and flat so it can fit into a narrow jawbone.

Subperiosteal implant is recommended when both root form and plate form implant are not feasible. Subperiosteal implant is tailored-fit to rest on top of a person's jawbone and under the gums through two special methods.

Tooth implant should be conducted based on appropriate assessment of the patient's problem, and not only on hope in the mind of the dentist or the patient.
