Hair today Gone Tommorrow

Balding is not something anyone would look forward to. Even though we are unable to stop aging we can help ourselves when it comes to hair loss.

Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

Laser Hair Therapy As A Hair Restoration Option

By Rick Bota

More and more people suffering from hair loss are starting to turn towards laser hair therapy. Due to its non-invasive and non-chemical application it is easy to see why this may be a more appealing option for many individuals. It is important for you to note, if you are considering this option results may vary depending on what stage of hair loss you are in. It is highly recommended that you consult with a hair restoration expert before making any final decision.

Recent studies have concluded that those individuals who are in the beginning phases of hair loss tend to get better results than those in more advanced stages. Although low level laser therapy (LLLT) is a relatively new technology it is rapidly gaining ground in the hair loss industry.

Dermatologist world wide have been taking advantage of the use of lasers for several years. With such success in the skincare industry it was eventually discovered that laser technology could be used to stimulate hair growth. In order to understand todays laser technology, you must forget about the danger of lasers from the past.

The LLLT technology does not consist of cutting or the burning sensation that is normally associated with lasers. If fact this technology doesn't even resemble the look of what one would associate with traditional lasers. LLLT consist of a panel of lasers that shine on the scalp.

In the majority of cases the patient can relax calmly underneath the bank of lasers as it delivers a non-invasive phototherapy treatment to the scalp. In fact most clients sit back and enjoy a magazine while receiving the treatment, just to give you an idea of how soothing the process is. The energy from the bank of lasers are gently absorbed by the scalp's cells and thus begins the repairing process.

Recent studies in Europe shows that 80% of the cases have proven to stimulate new hair growth in 55% of the cases. Despite all the positive results, it is important for the patient to understand that LLLT is not some miracle solution for hair loss, and results may vary depending on each individual.

Some specialist opt to use the handheld version of the laser treatment. However in my opinion you get a much better result from using the LLLT with the larger bank of lasers. As of the writing of this article there are several other forms of laser technology that you can expect to see in the future. Another positive aspect of LLLT is that there are no known side effects.

Across the board individuals have stated that their hair has been healthier, thicker, and looks better after their LLLT treatments. I cannot state this enough - results may vary depending on your particular situation. LLLT is not a one solution fits all type of treatment.

Your ultimate goal is to achieve the best possible out come, correct? Of course it is. This is why it is highly recommended that you contact a hair restoration specialist who has the expertise to assess your particular condition and explain to you what your options are.
