Hair today Gone Tommorrow

Balding is not something anyone would look forward to. Even though we are unable to stop aging we can help ourselves when it comes to hair loss.

Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

Jamaica - FAQ

By Robert Nickel

Jamaica has a storied history. Its first settlers were South American Tainos, and over time Jamaica was ruled by both the Spanish and the British. Today, Jamaica is independent and a well-known destination for travels from all corners of the globe. There are certainly some aspects of Jamaica that have not changed much over the years, regardless of the political climate, economy or local government - the disparity between poverty and wealth is readily apparent in many areas.

It is not uncommon to see ramshackle huts juxtaposed next to modern buildings; you can travel just outside of a tourist zone and be subjected to startling levels of poverty. Needless to say, this type of exposure to the "real" Jamaica can be quite polarizing for the uninitiated. A little bit of preparation can help first timers avoid massive levels of culture shock.

Tourist destinations

Jamaica has six major tourist areas, or zones, and each one is slightly different from the others. Negril - this is the physical representation of what is often shown in advertising for Jamaican tourism - all inclusive five star resorts, a major nightlife scene, a casual, laid back atmosphere (no matter the time of day or night), and beaches that are real versions of the impossible-but-real images produced by Photoshop and used as computer screen savers.

Montego Bay - Trendy! That's the best description for this area; it has numerous resorts, some of the most beautifully scenic golf courses in the world and a landscape filled with natural wonders for the more adventurous.

Ocho Rios - The big attraction here is Dunn's River Falls - it's completely climbable and definitely sets the vibe for the entire area. Ocho Rios is often the destination most chosen by eco-savvy tourists and outdoor enthusiasts who like a bit of adventure during their vacations.

Kingston and Port Antonio - These locations are a good split of modern amenities mixed together with more traditional Jamaican culture and history. If you want to feel like you've seen "real" Jamaica, but also want five star accommodations, this is the place for you.

South Coast - Far less touristy than all of the other areas mentioned, but certainly no less interesting. Traditional Jamaican culture is prevalent here; if you want to live like a local this is the place to do so.

No matter which area you choose to base your accommodations from, there is no shortage of attractions for a wide variety of tastes - jet-ski rentals, forest expeditions, hiking tours, horseback riding; a little something for everyone. Most attractions are priced fairly, well run, and as always, the mood is laid back. Gratuities are appreciated of course. If you're considering booking an expensive experience, check reviews online from other visitors to ensure you know what to expect - common sense that isn't exclusive to Jamaica.
