Hair today Gone Tommorrow

Balding is not something anyone would look forward to. Even though we are unable to stop aging we can help ourselves when it comes to hair loss.

Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

Several Classes Of Toothbrush For More Effective Dental Care

By Kate Williams

One international toothpaste commercial says "brush, brush, brush, three times and a day. Brush, brush, brush, to keep the cavities away..." True enough, dentists worldwide recommend that we brush our teeth at least twice a day for good oral hygiene. To achieve cavity-free teeth, one should invest not only on good quality toothpaste but also on the right toothbrush. Today, toothbrushes are available in a multitude of types-from regular ones to electric toothbrushes-to choose from.

The elaborately decorated gold toothpicks used in 3000 BCE by the Sumerian are believed to be the precursors of toothbrushes. These items were excavated at Ur in Mesopotamia and were believed to be used by said people for oral hygiene. Nonetheless, the first toothbrush that resembles the modern ones appeared in Egypt around 3500 BC. With one beaten into a soft fibrous condition used for scrubbing and brushing the teeth, said brush was made from plant limbs and roots. Over the years that followed, a number of other types and designs of toothbrushes were developed for consumers to choose from.

There are different types of toothbrushes that one can choose from. The most common type is the manual toothbrush which is the oldest and features a hard handle and bristles on one end. Some models also have tongue cleaners featured. Next, we have the electric toothbrush which normally features a large-handled base that holds at least two AA batteries. These clean more effectively than manual ones but are more uncomfortable to sue due to their bulky base. Thirdly, we have the sonic toothbrush which cleans through vibrating bristles which help in loosening any hidden plaque and debris that are hiding between teeth. Lastly, we have the chewable and children's toothbrush. The first one is chewed and spit out after and is mostly used when a toothbrush and toothpaste are not easily accessible while the latter have bright colors, shapes and designs of cartoon characters and special features that aid in kids brushing

Choosing the right type of toothbrush can be very difficult with all the different models and brands available. One of the first things to be considered when choosing is the hardness of the toothbrush. Brushes can either be soft, medium or hard, with the medium ones the most recommended by dentist. Do not also forget to consider the size and the bristles. The first one refers to the way the brush can fit easily into your mouth and still allow you to brush around every tooth while the latter helps to ensure you get every hard-to-reach spot in your mouth. Cost is another consideration when choosing. Although there are some more affordable powered toothbrush options being sold, an electric toothbrushes cost many times more than manual toothbrushes. Finally, do not forget about safety. Choose ones that have soft bristles in order that the gums will not be damaged.

But why should one brush his/her teeth? Brushing one's teeth with either manual or electric toothbrushes is a must in the prevention and reduction of dental problems. Practicing this everyday would help prevent tooth decay, gum disease, and, among adults, tooth loss. Swelling and bleeding of gums which often result from plaques from the surfaces of the teeth can also be prevented with brushing.

Brushing one's teeth in a regular basis is important to promote good oral health; with the use of good quality toothbrush which maybe manual or electrical one can attain a sparkling smile.
