Hair today Gone Tommorrow

Balding is not something anyone would look forward to. Even though we are unable to stop aging we can help ourselves when it comes to hair loss.

Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

How is Cumbria as a holiday destination?

By Clarke West

Cumbria has something to offer everyone, be it a taste for adventure, wilderness, history, or literary heritage. A huge variety of Lake District cottages available to rent provides a range of possibilities offering the perfect escape from the rat race. At low cost visitors will be able to see some of Great Britain's most fantastic vistas, while visiting high quality restaurants, galleries and water sports venues.

Lake District cottages provide a doorway to any number of award winning attractions throughout Cumbria, the adventure capital of the UK. Among them is the world's only Via Ferrata, a climbing assault course perched on the edge of Fleetwith Pike. This is an exciting experience open to climbers of all levels which tracks the route miners used to take hundreds of years ago. Based at the Honister Slate Mine this is truly a must visit. Other companies such as the Lakeland Climbing Centre in Kendal, provide both indoor and outdoor facilities for those who have a taste for climbing and are staying at any one of the numerous Lake District cottages. If climbing is not quite enough other companies provide caving tours to see the region from beneath.

Test your nerve against the paranormal at the haunted Muncaster castle and gardens. It is not, however, only the ghosts who have taken up residence here. The World Owl Centre is located at the castle which gives visitors the chance to get up close and personal with England's most graceful birds. Meadow Vole Maze provides a more cerebral activity.

The birthplace of one of England's most renowned poets, William Wordsworth, Cokermouth in Cumbria is a short hop from Windermere cottages. Literary visitors can follow the life of the romantic poet by seeing where he was born, educated and spent time writing in Hawkshead, Grasmere and Ambleside. It is not only the poetry of Coleridge and Wordsworth on offer. A number of museums throughout the region explore the rural, industrial and maritime past of this historical area.

Offering some of the world's finest trails and jaw-dropping views, Cumbria attracts thousands of visitors a year to walk its fells. For those visitors who want to take advantage of years of local knowledge or simply lack experience a variety of companies offer guides for both groups and individuals. Companies such as Highpoint Mountain Guides employ qualified and experienced guides that make any one of the Windermere cottages an excellent place from which to explore.

For a more sedate holiday while at one of any number of Windermere cottages the Lake District offers a huge variety of food and drink to satisfy even the most discerning of foodie. Gastro pubs, restaurants and cafes many of which are award winners offer high quality food and drink including locally brewed beers and regional lamb and beef. In addition there are a wide variety of craft and food shops dotted all over the region to provide a rich shopping experience, where visitors can purchase the perfect souvenir to remind them of their holiday at Windermere Cottages.

A gem nestled in the northwest of England, Cumbria will provide an outstanding holiday experience. Encompassing some of the country's most outstanding scenery and influence over some of Britain's most creative writers the Lake District is a holiday destination for all tastes.
