Hair today Gone Tommorrow

Balding is not something anyone would look forward to. Even though we are unable to stop aging we can help ourselves when it comes to hair loss.

Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

Overcoming Fears for Having Cosmetic Surgery

By Carmen Feola

Should You Have Plastic Surgery? cosmetic procedures such as eyelid surgery and facial implants are so common today that sometimes it seems as if everyone has had a little something performed. Non-invasive types of procedures such as facial filler therapies sometimes are taken care of over a work break, with no side effects. On the other hand, plastic surgical process, no matter how common it is, still involves risky steps and carries risks, costs, and the potential for complications and regret. On television, people breeze through surgical process, recovery downtime is nearly ignored, and have a new face or body by the end of the episode. Real surgical treatment is nothing like that, and the decision to have cosmetic treatments is a serious one.

How much are you bothered by the feature that you want to correct? We all have superficial flaws, or things that we might change if we could. But having surgical process is not like snapping our fingers and achieving a wish granted. There are budget questions, anxieties, downtime, and some pain associated with all cosmetic surgery. So, surgical process shouldn't be taken too lightly. Simply how much better might you feel if you corrected your "problem" feature?

If having medical plastic surgery procedures would really make a difference as part of your self-image and confidence, then it is certainly worth considering. The way we look does really make a difference in the manner people respond to us. More importantly, the way we feel about our appearances affects our attitudes and behavior, and also the impression that people give to other people. If you would really get a confidence boost from a cosmetic procedure, that is the real payoff.

How practical are your objectives? If you are obsessively looking at models and actors, and are hoping that some liposuction procedures or breast implants could make you look like a top super model, then you should think again. Cosmetic Treatments is best done when you have a clear knowing that you possibly can make improvements to your own appearance, but will not suddenly look like an entirely different person, with a whole new physique. Are you hoping to alleviate depression or anxiety symptoms with cosmetic surgery? If you feel self-conscious in regards to a physical flaw, and you feel until this is keeping you from reaching your full potential, then that is a very important factor. That is a healthy reason to have a procedure. But, sometimes people can give attention to an actual feature when they really are stressed out for many other reason. A good plastic surgeon will try, during the consultation, to eliminate patients who are unhealthy candidates because of impractical expectations. However, an appointment is not a full psychological workup, and cosmetic surgeons are not researchers.

However, a consultation is not a full psychological workup, and cosmetic surgeons are not specialists. Ask yourself if you should address mental or emotional issues before considering physical changes. Ultimately, you will need to seek advice from at least one cosmetic surgeon before you can make a final decision. But it's also advisable to determine a few basic questions. If there is a feature that really bothers you, and you would feel happier about yourself if you improved it, then cosmetic treatments may very well be. If the potential risks are small, and your expectations are reasonable, then you are probably a good plastic surgery nominee.
