Hair today Gone Tommorrow

Balding is not something anyone would look forward to. Even though we are unable to stop aging we can help ourselves when it comes to hair loss.

Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

It must be recognized that every family member bears this burden and groups such as Al Anon can offer hope.

Many family members simply have no idea how to aid a person that is addicted. Many become enablers without realizing what they are doing wrong. Still others live with the disease through the means of denial. Only structured guidance will enable them to help their loved one.

If you have a son, daughter, husband, or wife, willing to seek rehabilitation, you also need the aid of Al Anon to find the role you will play in their recovery. Staying addiction free is a rough road and the sufferer will need all the help they can get.

It takes courage to become an asset to an addict. First, you must step out of denial and the truth must be faced. If the addict is to survive; it becomes a family fought battle. The road is not an easy one. You have to turn a deaf ear to the pleas and lies an addict can relate to others in supporting their habit. A family may even have to disallow the addict residence in the family home.

If you feel you are in need of help seek out the wisdom of Al Anon. The road may seem harsh, but the end result will be freedom from the grip of addiction. Help your family member heal by healing yourself first. Then you can begin to heal as a family unit.
