Hair today Gone Tommorrow

Balding is not something anyone would look forward to. Even though we are unable to stop aging we can help ourselves when it comes to hair loss.

Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

What To Consider When Choosing A Counselor

By Freida Lamb

When deciding to see a counselor Parker CO residents need to remember that this type of therapist isn't the same as a psychologist or psychiatrist. To make the best choice of therapist, it's good to be aware of the differences. This will ensure that expectations from the patient are realistic.

A psychiatrist and psychologist have doctorates. The psychologist will use various methods of treatment through the mode of conversation and listening to aid the patient while a psychiatrist specializes in medicine used to treat psychiatric disease. A counsellor may have a diploma, degree or a certain number of hours of training and active work.

Psychotherapy and counselling are not always the same things. Psychologists usually offer long term therapy over a number of years while counsellors usually focus on resolving problems in a targeted way that shows results faster. There are many who believe that it doesn't matter which of these one chooses to see because the success rates depend entirely on the patient's commitment.

Successful therapy lies with the patient and not with the therapist's skill or methods. A patient who is willing and committed has an excellent prognosis. However, a superb therapist of any kind will be a tremendous help to the patient's healing. There are counsellors who are better equipped than psychologists and psychologists who are more skilled than counsellors. It's thus important that the patient find the best professional for them personally.

The therapeutic relationship should be showing certain signs of success within a month or two. The patient should have no fear of sharing anything because he knows he won't be judged. If this hasn't happened yet, if may be best to try out a different counsellor.

The patient should feel a good level of trust in his therapist. While this won't develop overnight, and some patients have trust issues, there should be a reasonable amount of growth in this area. When seeing a counselor parker co patients who are willing to be honest and are committed should see remarkable results in time. Processing one's feelings usually has amazing results.
