Hair today Gone Tommorrow

Balding is not something anyone would look forward to. Even though we are unable to stop aging we can help ourselves when it comes to hair loss.

Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

Getting The Right Eyebrow Shapes

By Myrtle Cash

Getting the right eyebrow shapes can be quite a challenge. Some pluck too much hair and end up with spare, thin brows. Given the difference in facial features, it can be hard to determine how these growths can be contoured for the best effect. The following are some tips that can help you get this right.

The main factor that determines what would be flattering on you would be the way your face is shaped. Your brows should compliment your facial features so that it enhances your beauty. Make time to examine your face and note its features. This will guide you throughout the shaping process.

There are aspects that need to be considered when shaping the brow. Its fullness has to be decided. For example, a full brow is usually best for those with squarish faces. One also needs to pay attention to how the brow should be arched. You could go with a rounder arch for example if you have a long face.

You also have to determine where your brows should begin and end. Drawing a straight line from the edge of your nose to your brow should indicate where it should start. A line from the middle of your lips, going to the edge of your nose, to the brow area, will let your see where it should end.

It will be easier to remember what the contour should be if you can have something to line the area with. A brow pencil should do the trick. You can apply this to your brows, and any hair growing outside of the indicated area, can then be plucked.

Hair can grow in different directions. Be careful when you start plucking an area where hair is growing in a downwards direction. Sometimes, it can look like the hair has to be removed when the only thing that needs to be done is to trim it.

Tweezing can be a good option when you want to get unwanted hairs out. The key is to get a good pair of tweezers so that you will not have difficulty getting at the small, thin hairs. Washing our face with warm water will soften the area and make it easier to pluck the hairs. Plucking should be done where there is good lighting. Check yourself in the mirror periodically.

It can be beneficial to consult a professional when it is your first time. These experts have more experience and will be able to give you advice about keeping your brow well shaped. Once they are done, it will be easy for you to just follow the contour they have made for you. All you will need to do is pluck from time to time to maintain it.

Brows are part of your face. They frame it and if shaped the right way, can make you more appealing. Deciding on the right eyebrow shapes will mean working with the features that you already have. Assess how your face is shaped and pluck accordingly.
