Hair today Gone Tommorrow

Balding is not something anyone would look forward to. Even though we are unable to stop aging we can help ourselves when it comes to hair loss.

Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

Escape to Sun-Drenched San Diego

There are so many fun things to do in San Diego that you'll have trouble finding time to do them all. This is true whether you live in Southern California or are just planning a visit. Take a look a some of the easily missed things to do San Diego San Diego county.

Kayak Tour of Sea Caves at La Jolla

Go kayaking at the La Jolla Ecological Reserve, home to a a wide variety of sea life and birds. Discover sea lions, seals, sea caves and maybe even dolphins in their natural habitat. Everyone, including first timers will have a good time. No experience is necessary. Participants must be at least 6 years old and able to swim.

Solid Rock Gym in San Diego, San Marcos and Poway

Solid Rock offers a huge indoor rock climbing gym. You can come for a day to try it out, or become a member and climb all the time. Beginners, including young children can get a feel for climbing while staying close to the ground. As you get a little more advanced, you can climb higher with ropes. The staff there will help you with safety gear. Birthday parties and scout programs are also available.

Solid Rock has gyms at 992 Rancheros Drive in San Marcos, 13026 Stowe Drive in Poway and 2074 Hancock Street in Old Town San Diego.

Gaslamp Quarter Back Alley Tour

Visitors will hear colorful stories of the history of the Stingaree. This is the home of San Diego's red light district at the turn of the century. A 90 minute guided walking tour covers fifteen blocks of the historic downtown San Diego area. Tours meet at Horton Plaza in San Diego.

Chula Vista Nature Center

The Chula Vista Nature Center specializes in birds and sea animals. You can see jellyfish, sea turtles, sharks, stingrays and more up close. You can even touch the rays. They post feeding times for many of the animals, including sea turtles, sharks and rays and eagles. Raptor row is home to birds that have been injured or couldn't survive in the wild. You'll see falcons, owls, turkey vultures, hawks and osprey, all of which are native to this area. Take the time to explore the walking trails that stretch between the Chula Vista Nature Center and the ocean. You'll see native plants and animals in action.

The nature center is located at 1000 Gunpowder Point Drive, named for the gunpowder factory that used to exist on Gunpowder Point, in Chula Vista. Hours are 10 - 5 every day.

Surf School in Carlsbad

There's no better place to learn to surf than San Diego. The Carlsbad Surf School offers surfing lessons for beginners and more advanced surfers year round. They provide all the equipment, including wetsuits if they're needed. Even first time surfers will be able to stand up on their board and surf after a two hour surfing class. This is a great way to experience the ocean like a California native. Classes meet at the end of Carlsbad Village Drive in Carlsbad.

Don't just see the same old tourist traps that everyone visits in San Diego. Sea World, the San Diego Zoo and visiting the beach are great, but that's what everyone does. Take it a step further and really experience this unique area like a San Diegan. This is just a small sample of the fun day trips available to locals and visitors alike.
