Hair today Gone Tommorrow

Balding is not something anyone would look forward to. Even though we are unable to stop aging we can help ourselves when it comes to hair loss.

Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

3 Essential Vitamins For Hair Growth

By Daniel J Burns

The state of your hair actually reflects the general state of your health. The adage "having a bad hair day" is actually true: stress not only leads to frazzled or falling hair, but in men's cases, even thinning or balding. Too much stress and anxiety has a detrimental effect on your crown of glory. So too does poor eating habits.

Here are some of the essential vitamins recommended for a healthy head of hair.

The Vitamin B Group
Vitamin B is one of the vital nutrients needed for healthy hair. Natural chemicals such as Inositol, present across all Vitamin B groups is a proven factor in preventing hair loss. Another vitamin B compound, Para aminobenzoic acid, guards against premature greying of the hair.

Inositol, a naturally-occurring chemical found in all the B vitamins, is known to prevent hair loss. Para aminobenzoic acid is believed to have properties that prevent premature discoloration of the hair and is also found across the B vitamins group.

Vitamin B3, known as niacin, improves blood circulation in the scalp, promoting hair growth.

Vitamin B5 or panthenol, meanwhile, helps replenishment of lost hair.

Vitamin B6 and B12 with their regenerative properties on the cells have been clinically shown to promote healthy hair growth.

Vitamin E
Vitamin E has been shown to be one of the most beneficial vitamins for hair growth. Vitamin E is an antioxidant that stimulates the scalp by promoting blood circulation. An increase in blood circulation can help supply essential nutrients to the hair follicles promoting stronger and healthier growth.

Vitamin A
Vitamin A basically helps keep the hair roots lubricated, which avoid dry scalp and aids hair growth. It is abundant in green leafy vegetables, different peppers, eggs and the liver of livestock.

Vitamin C
This vitamin is most often associated with the prevention of colds and providing the immune system a quick boost. However, it also has little-known properties that make it useful for hair growth. Strawberries, fruits with a high citrus content, green and red peppers and kiwis are among the best sources of vitamin C.

A healthy, balanced diet is crucial to any number of health-related goals, including hair growth. Vegetables, lean meats, fresh fruits and whole grains are all part of such a diet and can provide the body with the various essential nutrients it needs to function properly and prevent any premature thinning or graying.
