Hair today Gone Tommorrow

Balding is not something anyone would look forward to. Even though we are unable to stop aging we can help ourselves when it comes to hair loss.

Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

The Best Ways To Find A Good Cosmetic Surgeon

By Megan Dooley

Cosmetic surgery is not something that anyone would sign up to without a great deal of thought and finding a good cosmetic surgeon is the key to the success of any procedure. When choosing a surgeon it is essential to check, they have the skills, experience and a proven reputation for putting the patients interests first, and that should be more important than the cost.

It is important to note that plastic and reconstructive surgery is considered to be a medical requirement to repair damage from an accident or a birth defect and can usually be carried out on the NHS. Whereas plastic surgery is about changing the appearance and the patient has to pay the cost of any operation or treatment that is carried out in private facilities.

Patients can check the register of surgeons held by the General Medical Council (GMC) to find a reliable and reputable beauty specialist. Plastic surgeons that normally operate under the NHS must have their general surgery qualification, and an additional six year working in plastics to be added to the plastics register.

A secondary source that patients can use to verify a plastic surgeons qualification and experience, is the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) register. Members from both organizations are obliged to comply with their codes of conduct if they wish to remain members.

Patients will normally find that their general physician is a reliable source of information on plastic surgery and how to find a beauty specialist. They may be able to provide a referral to a suitable doctor on behalf of their patient.

A good cosmetic surgeon will arrange to meet a patient for a consultation prior to arranging any operation. This consultation should include a frank and open discussion about the procedure, risks and after care requirements. It also gives the patient the opportunity to ask questions and raise any concerns they may have.
