Everything in the universe has its own unique vibration. Forms that share a common vibration will always be attracted to one another. Even though male and female genders are opposites that attract, it is really the commonalities or "likeness" in each individual that attracts them to one another. Similar mental, physical, and spiritual vibrations also attract. As the saying goes, "Birds of a feather flock together." You don't see many caterpillars hanging out with butterflies. Similarly, there will always be an underlying strata of like frequency between individuals in a group or tribe as well as those sharing a particular ideology. This "like attract like frequency" phenomenon is known as the law of attraction.
Just as in metaphysics, string theory in quantum physics predicts that everything in the universe consists of vibration or "strings of energy." Resonance, frequency, and vibration is what separates every object we can see, smell, taste, touch, or hear in the world of form. The frequency in which the quark, atom, cell, star, and galaxy resonates is what determines its unique size, color, sound, make up, purpose, and other characteristics.
Thinking thoughts and feeling emotions that contain higher vibratory speeds--such as love, gratitude, compassion, forgiveness, peace, and joy--stem from the heart rather than the right brain. The Japanese biologist, Dr. Masaru Emoto of Japan has repeatedly demonstrated that words describing emotions have their own vibration, and that vibration directly affects water molecules. After communicating to the water these emotional vibrations via music, written word, and speech, the water consistently formed beautiful, symmetrical crystals. When negative, brain-based emotions such as "anxiety," "worrying," and "anger," were communicated, no crystals formed whatsoever, only distorted, ugly shapes. When you consider the fact that your are 70% water, imagine what an impact it would have on your well-being if you were completely rooted in your heart.
The coming "shift" in consciousness that so many spiritual teachers are talking about these days is indeed articulating this transition from brain-based intention to heart-based intention. Mind-based intention as explained in the book, "The Secret," is possible but comes with a caveat: You will also get what you don't want. Brain-based intention exhibits conditional love and because of this, has a very low vibration. Heart-based intention, however, has a much higher frequency of emotion altogether. It is pure love expressed unconditionally. The ego is taken out of the equation. When you learn to tap into this new emotional body, you will be accessing limitless power.
Heart-based emotion invokes a higher, unconditional love that is given without expectations or conditions. It is the same kind of love that is given from a mother to her newborn baby. No matter what that baby does, the love from the mother remains unconditional. When we, as a species, begin to love one another in this same vibration--no matter what we say or do to one another--we will be witnessing a shift on this planet unlike anything seen before. Our sense of family will not be limited to our individual blood lines, but will be expanded outwardly to include every one of the 6.7 billion people living on Planet Earth.
