Discover About Living With Hair Loss

By Steve Glide

Hair loss is a condition which can affect many people through their lives. Leading to problems with low self-esteem, anxiety, depression and a lack of confidence, in many cases the issue is only temporary or as a result of the natural aging process.

Quite often, hair loss can be brought on by a reaction to medical treatments or underlying health issues. In such cases, (following cancer treatment, or suffering from anemia for example), the condition is certainly likely to be a short term affair and the hair will restore itself.

The most common form of hair loss is to be found in men. Known as male pattern baldness, or androgenic alopecia, the condition, whilst prevalent in men, can affect women too. Linked to genetics, there are two medicines known to be effective treatments; finasteride and minoxidil.

Whilst is remains unclear why minoxidil is effective, this is the only treatment that can be effective for women to use. Finasteride only performs when used by men; though the process is better understood; controlling the levels of follicle shrinking dihydrotestosterone in the body.

In both treatments, it is important that time is given, (at least four to six months), for the medication to take effect. There are very few side effects to be expected from the use of both drugs, but treatment will be required constantly, or hair loss will recur quite rapidly.

Most common after this is alopecia areata; which has been in the spotlight over recent years, having been suffered by a number of celebrities. Sudden baldness, mainly on the scalp though also on other parts of the body, indicates such a condition. As with androgenica, there are close links to genetic history.

In the majority of cases, hair will grow back within twelve to eighteen months. However, one in five people may go on to experience more severe issues resulting in the total loss of hair to the scalp and, in some cases the entire body.

A lesser known form of alopecia is telogen effluvium; which can be recognized not so much through total loss of hair; but through widespread thinning across the entire scalp and other areas of the body. Again, this is a condition that often subsides after a few months; as is closely linked with stress or a reaction to some forms of medication.

There are many treatment options apart from minoxidil and finasteride lotions, and these can include topical and injected steroids. However, with cases being very much individualized, it is always advisable to consult a trained professional.

Effective Hair Loss Baldness Treatment Options

By Irina Thorton

Approximately 60 million Americans are suffering from hair loss, thus making it a very widespread occurrence. Baldness, being inherited in nature, makes a lot of people think that no cure or treatments are available to address it. Apparently, a number of ways can be done to treat this major problem.

Remedies are readily available for all. But then, the first step to address hair loss problem is that you have to be seen and thoroughly examined by a medical doctor. This is the most important key to find out the exact factor that triggers the hair loss. Men and women alike suffer from hair loss that can be due to heredity, present disease, malnutrition and medication adverse effects. The single most reliable way to identify the reason for hair loss is to be seen and examined by a doctor.

Hereditary baldness is a condition that medical practitioners do not have the capability to treat yet. But there have been baldness treatment options available in the market that can deal with the problem effectively, whether the problem is due to genetics, illness, drugs or malnutrition. Two of these medications have been approved by the FDA. They are dutasteride and finasteride.

Dutasteride is considered as the most sophisticated treatment to stop the production of (DHT) dehydrotestosterone, which is the leading cause of falling hair in men. Scientific research shows that dutasteride is capable of hindering the two particular enzymes that convert testosterone into DHT. Generic dutasteride acts to trim down the size of an engorged prostate and lowers the levels of DHT by 90% at two weeks and 93% at two years.

Finasteride (propecia) is another option that can help stop hair loss. Propecia is the brand name being used in treatments that contain finasteride. Finasteride has been proven in scientific studies to prevent hair loss. Finasteride works by blocking 5-alpha reductase, which is an enzyme that converts testosterone into DHT. In theory, propecia stops the conversion of testesterone into DHT, thereby preventing DHT from binding to the follicles. The medication is specifically good for people with minimal loss of hair as users are able to keep their hair without further hair loss advancement.

Propecia has been dubbed to be one of the top remedies for hair loss because it has been scientifically proven and is very easy to use. Take a single pill everyday and no need for those unpleasant hair applications.

Another FDA approved hair loss and baldness remedy is the Minoxidil 2% Solution. This acts to recruit hair at the follicles making it one of the most effective remedies there is most especially when taken concomitant with a DHT inhibitors like that of propecia.

These three products that work to put a stop to the effects of DHT have become ever so popular in the trend of hair loss baldness management. Likewise, acupuncture, aromatherapy and even hair transplants are also some of the techniques performed in order to address hair loss.

General Causes of Hair Loss in Women

By Raymond .N. Winsome

Baldness is frequently considered a trouble that men have to deal with, but this simply is not true. Umpteen women are losing their hair and vexed from the emotional and physical changes that come with phalacrosis. It's been forecast that about 30 million American adult females have to cope with hair loss in women. Although women are gratified to be hairless on all other parts of their bodies, a bald head is not encouraged by society. There are some common causes of hair loss in women, some of which will demand treatment and others that will not.

Function of Birth Control Pills and Hair Loss in Women

It is comparatively common for women to lose their hair when they are taking birth control pills. Hormones that regulate the female reproductive cycle also seem to play a role in hair growth and re-growth. The American Hair Loss Association recommends women should take low-androgen index contraceptive pills to reduce this form of hair loss in women.

You shouldn't opt not to take the pill if you don't want to become pregnant; you just need to talk to your doctors about your options. Some pills are more likely to cause hair loss in women than others. Like any form of contraception, you really want to talk it over with your doctor or gynecologist. Nothing you articulate will shock them. Talking to your doctor will help you envision any risk or potential side effects.

Traction Alopecia

Traction alopecia pertains to the over styling of your hair. While your hair is fun to style and wear in special ways, this stresses the follicle and can actually cause hair loss in women. Normally, a hair follicle needs a certain amount of freedom from hair styling products, blow drying or hair coloring in order to get some needed rest and relaxation. A major cause of hair loss in women is, sadly, entirely preventable. Give your hair a couple days off every week and you'll likely be able to prevent this type of hair loss in women.

Androgenic Alopecia

Some hair loss in women runs in their families, and this is known as androgenic alopecia. There is a baldness gene passed down in families that gives male-pattern baldness to both women and men. It is most ordinarily thought that the family member to blame for giving you this gene is your maternal grandfather, although this has not been tested.

While many people see baldness as a sign that they are not healthy, this is not necessarily true. Some times something just needs to be changed, such as a hair style, and in other situations it is a matter of genetics. This is good news and bad news, the bad being that usually when you lose your hair it won't spring up back. Prevention and knowledge really is the key to preventing the forms of hair loss in women that can be prevented.

Here's A Look At 5 Of The Best Hair Loss Treatments You Can Use Today

By Roy Pletz

It can be quite difficult to find the best hair loss treatments out there today. The main reason I suppose is because there are so many options available such as: hair transplantation, prescription drugs, topical solutions, home remedies and natural dietary supplements. So lets take a look at which one is the better option.

Hair transplantation - This treatment is all about taking hair from one part of your head and transplanting it in another. The results are almost immediate but it does involve surgery. It is considered by many to be one of the best treatments out there because of its fast results. It is though out of reach for many because of the expense involved.

Prescription drugs - There are drugs that are prescribed for hair loss such as Propecia. They are to a certain extend effective, however, there are side effects that come with these drugs. Some of the side effects include erectile dysfunction, gynecomastia and a reduced sex drive. So if you want to take these kinds of drugs just make sure you are willing to tolerate the side effects.

Topical solutions - A big chunk of the hair loss market is in topical solutions and creams. The most popular ones will contain Minoxidil because of its FDA approval for slowing down the hair loss process.

Home remedies - Home remedies are a dime a dozen and not all are worth trying. The most popular ones involve mustard oil, henna, black pepper, aloe vera, lime and coconut oil. Henna, aloe vera and coconut oil are known to nourish the hair while warm mustard oil applied to the head can stimulate circulation and induce hair growth.

Dietary supplements - When testosterone mixes with a certain enzyme it produces what's called dht (dihydrotestosterone) which is the main cause of hair loss in men and it does play a part in hair loss for women, so being able to slow or stop the production of dht would be beneficial. There are herbs out there like saw palmetto and stinging nettle that have the ability to do just that. So a great dietary supplement will have these herbs as well as others in it and it should also contain essential vitamins and minerals as well.

These are some of the best options out there right now. They all have the positives and negatives so do your research before buying so you can pick the best treatment for your needs.

An Insightful Discussion About Neck Pain

By Bill Shine

There are many people that deal with neck pain, if not once, then many times in their life. The pain can be caused by a variety of reasons. Anything from sleeping in the wrong position which can cramp the neck muscles, to a serious car accident can trigger the constant pain in the neck and upper back, sometimes including the shoulders.

Be sure to discuss the painful condition to your doctor. Neck and jaw pain can often mean there is a more serious condition that needs to be diagnosed. For example, jaw and neck pressure and pain can often mean heart problems in some women. These pains are not necessary a sure sign of heart problems, but it is a significant sign that should be reported to a doctor immediately.

One of the most devastating injuries that often happen to the neck and the spine is during a vehicle accident. The sudden jolt and stopping of the neck and body muscles often result in a condition known as whip lash. This type of injury is very painful and may take many weeks, sometimes with therapy, to recover from.

Some accidents are even more tragic that others, causing severe injuries to the spinal column and often breaking bones in the neck. This requires even more time to recover from, if recovery is even possible. Many patients that have sustained such devastating injuries can be fully aware of what is going on around them, but unable to speak or move because of the severity of the injuries.

Arthritis causes the bones in the neck to rub against one another when the person moves their head. This is one of the most common causes of neck and other joint pains. The joints that are used the most, such as hands, neck and knees are an easy target for arthritis. For relief of pain, it is necessary to talk to a doctor.

Stress is often the main reason many people have pains in the neck and lower head area. Stress causes the muscles to tense, often causing pain in the neck that eventually causes a headache in most patients. A prescription can be written by your doctor for a medication that combines acetaminophen and a mild muscle relaxer to help with medical situations such as that.

To find more on how to find out the sources of neck pain and how to treat them, consult your doctor. For more information that can be found for yourself, do a little research on the internet.

Chemotherapy And Hair Loss - LR

By Lee Reid

One of the most frequent side effect of cancer treatments is chemotherapy hair loss. What is the reason why hair loss occurs during chemotherapy? The medication used in chemotherapy is extremely powerful and it destroys all the developing cancer cells, although they affect other body parts too. These medicines also attack other cells in the body that have a rapid growth; among these, the cells in the hair roots, as well.

The effects of chemotherapy on hair are not limited only to the scalp as the procedure affects the hair on the body, too. Thus, patients will experience the loss of eyebrows, eyelashes, pubic and armpit hair.

The variety of the drugs used in chemotherapy is incredibly high with hundreds of medicines available. Some of these will trigger chemotherapy hair loss more quickly than others, but some may not even cause such a side effect. The difference in chemotherapy drug doses is another aspect to consider when hair loss is under discussion, as hair loss ranges from thinning to complete baldness. Thus, make sure to discuss all such details with your doctor, in order to be prepared to cope with hair loss psychologically.

Hair usually starts falling out after 10-14 days from the beginning of the treatment. It may happen quite fast, gradually or in clumps. Chemotherapy hair loss remains a problem throughout the entire period of the treatment and a month afterwards. Half of the hair can fall out before this is noticed by people around. Fortunately, in the majority of cases, chemotherapy hair loss represents a temporary effect. Hair will probably grow back within six months to one year from the end of the procedure. Although the regrowth of the hair occurs in most of the cases, the new hair could be of a different texture and shade temporarily.

It usually takes about four to six weeks for the hair to recover from chemotherapy, and the growth rate will be somewhere around a quarter inch per month. When the hair starts growing back again, it might be a little different from the hair that was lost because of therapy. The changes will be a first recovery sign and the hair will recover the look previous to the treatment the moment cellular pigmentation is functioning normally all over again. Unfortunately, one cannot prevent chemotherapy hair loss as there is no treatment which will guarantee that the hair will not fall out.

However the most common cause of it is called adrogenetic alopecia. This is the medical term for hair loss or baldness. Adrogenetic refers to the influence of androgens (male hormones), and genetic predisposition to balding can be the reason of such a hair loss.

This is why planning for hair restoration will be very important for those people who gets alarmed about it.Common man and women produce androgenic hormones. Dihydrotestosterone, androsteinedione, testosterone (DHT) is the most common. Men Testicles and adrenals are the one to produce it. For women ovaries and adrenal glands is that which produce.

How Clogged hair Follicles Can Cause Thinning Hair

By Cliff Nichols

You can stop your hair from thinning and going bald by knowing the reason it is happening and following some simply remedies. The following tips will help you keep what hair you have and stop the process of your hair falling out. It does not have to happen.

Three reasons this might be happening are:

Clogged hair follicles can stop the growth of new hair.

Lack of nutrients to the scalp and hair to keep it healthy in order to naturally grow.

Insufficient blood flow to the scalp.

Acne is caused when the pores are clogged by build up of sebum and bacteria that gets trapped, causing the infection which results in blemishes or pimples. Your hair acts in the same way. When the hair follicle is trapped it prevents it from coming to the surface and therefore your hair will not grow. Over a period of time, your scalp will then become smooth and cause baldness or thinning hair.

Therefore it makes sense to do everything you can to avoid the hair follicle from becoming clogged. By finding out what is causing your follicle to clog, you will be able to avoid it, therefore counter acting those reasons.

So here are some reasons you might be experiencing clogged hair follicles.

A build up of hormones such as testosterone in your blood which will then convert to DHT, clogging your hair follicles.

The use of shampoos, styling gels and conditioners that have high levels of chemicals that can cling to your scalp and eventually get trapped.

When scalp flakiness and too much sebum mix together it creates a hard material that can buildup on the scalp and cause clogging.

The use of certain shampoos can help dissolve the buildup of DHT which will allow your pores to remain open and your hair to grow.

To help with the testosterone converting into DHT, you can take a supplement that will prevent that. Propecia is a well known prescription drug that can help by blocking the body's conversion of testosterone to DHT. This will help in the re-growth of hair. You can find Propecia very affordable from online pharmacies.

Throw out those shampoos and conditioners that are loaded with harsh chemicals.

When buying your shampoos and conditioners make sure you take note of the ingredients. Many of these products will contain the harsh chemicals, dyes and preservatives that cause damage to your hair and scalp.

They will not only be damaging to your scalp. but can also over a period of use be damaging to your liver and other parts of your body as well.

So what you can do for healthy hair is to find shampoo and other hair products that will contain more natural ingredients, therefore be nourishing for your hair and keep it shiny and healthy.

Excessive oil or dry scalp.

Having oily hair is attributed to the hair follicle releasing too much sebum and building up on the scalp. It then gets mixed with the chemical buildup from the shampoo, dirt and dead scalp cells. Using a natural shampoo can help to avoid this problem.

Keep your scalp and hair clean by using a little aloe Vera mixed with a small amount of jojoba oil. This will allow the hair follicles to remain open.

Stimulation of the scalp to get the blood flowing is vitally important. Your hair will grow naturally, as it will help keep the follicle alive.

Try these simply effective remedies to keep your hair shiny and healthy and to prevent further hair loss.

Procerin Vs Propecia Both Reverse Male Pattern Baldness

By Katrina Kim

Male pattern baldness is caused when testosterone turns into DHT or dihydrotestosterone, and it can become apparent in males as young as 18 years old. It is a natural process and Procerin vs Propecia are two treatment protocols which can address this problem. If you suffer from hair loss perhaps you want to take a look at these two options?

Both of these are medications used to treat baldness and they work by blocking the production of DHT. They are specifically formulated only for use by men, and while Propecia is available by prescription only Procerin can be purchased over the counter.

Procerin is a natural product it is manufactured using a natural mixture of vitamins, minerals and herbs, and is best used on men aged 18 years to 40, and yes, 18 year olds can experience the beginnings of male pattern baldness. This combination of natural ingredients has been proven to slow down and prevent hair loss in men, but there is no evidence available to suggest it may help with hair loss in women.

Propecia is another story entirely it is a drug, it is manufactured by a pharmaceutical company and it is dangerous. Women who are pregnant are not even allowed to dispense or handle this drug in any way as it causes abnormalities of the genitals in a male fetus. I have not idea how this fact was found out, and am not even sure I want to know.

This drug is very dangerous to women, it should never be taken by them and women who are pregnant should not even handle this drug as it can cause abnormalities of the sex organs in a male fetus.

These are the first drugs approved by the Federal Drug Administration for the treatment of male pattern baldness. As far as Procerin vs Propecia, I would choose the natural route every time, but ultimately the choice is yours.

How to Cope with Hair Loss

By Dave Thomas

Becoming bald and losing your hair can be fairly distressing, as you may think that you look older than you feel and that can cause unhappiness.

Some people whose hair starts to recede, will conceal this with combing over the area where it is thinning or they shave off all their remaining hair.

Although people often use remedies to prevent their hair from thinning and to encourage new hair growth, more often than not these treatments are unsuccessful as they do not attack the cause behind the hair thinning and falling out.

Prior to trying a therapy it is crucial to know what is causing your hair to fall out, and how can it be stopped.

Baldness is caused through a number of things. It can be linked to stress, scalp disease, or if you are not getting proper nutrition. The most prominent cause of hair loss is a hereditary condition that produces too much of a by product of testosterone called Dihydrotestostrone (DHT). This weakens the root of the hair as it joins to the hair follicle and eventually your hair becomes thinner and weaker.

Thankfully, there is help out there if you are worried about your hair receding. There are products which are natural and reduce the production of DHT in turn making your hair stronger. Also improving your eating can be key to preventing baldness. A diet that is dense in vitamins and minerals especially, zinc, iron, vitamin B-12, B1 and vitamin C, also lysine a basic amino acid found in proteins will help to strengthen your hair and boost your general health. If you struggle to get a balanced diet with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables it may advisable to take a supplement that contains the nutrients mentioned.

Rather than taking a supplement you may choose to use natural remedies, that will improve a man's health. These are Saw Palmetto and Nettle, which improves mens prostate health and will help to slow down the development of DHT, which in turn will help to keep your follicles strong so that your hair will not start to weaken.

All this information may sound a little daunting and you may be wondering how to make certain you get all these things in your diet, but there is an easy way to do this, by using a natural product which has all these ingredients that are key to fight baldness.

The Best Products Used For Hair Loss

By Allen Romatar

You are a product of your parents, and hair loss is often inherited. Hormones are tricky, hidden things, however, and they have different effects on an individual basis. In a male, testosterone abides abundantly. There are also enzymes working on testosterone which product a substance called DHT. DHT is now known to circulate in the blood and cause other conditions, one of which is the shrinking of hair follicles. When hair follicles shrink enough, they are unable to produce and push a new hair through.

Pregnancy, childbirth and menopause all cause significant hormonal change and imbalances with both physical and mental effects. These changes can also cause hair loss, both temporary and permanent.Hair loss and re-growth products have been around for centuries.

Modern medical research has focused on ways to re-open and stimulate "dead" hair follicles, so that hair growth can re-occur naturally, as well as keep the healthy follicles healthy. One need only do a "google" search on hair loss.

Prevent Hair Loss: Common Causes

By Mike Jones

At any given time we all know at least one person suffering from hair loss. We may even be experiencing it ourselves. It can be a highly stressful condition to endure for some people. There are several common causes and if you are aware of them you may be able to prevent hair loss.

Good nutrition is a very important factor for overall health especially for the life of your hair. Eating a well balanced diet full of fruits and vegetables can help your body maintain the right balance of vitamins and minerals and in return keep your hair healthy and full. While you should be maintain a proper diet anyway, the prevention of hair loss should be just one more reason why it is important.

One of the biggest causes of hair loss is stress. If you can not cope with stress properly your entire body suffers and your hair is not immune from this. Find healthy and productive ways to deal with anger and stress by employing simple techniques you can add to your every day life. Exercise is one of the best ways to deal with stress for many people. Try working out or going for a walk when you encounter a stressful situation that seems like too much for you to handle.

Pony tails and other restricting hair styles can also cause hair loss for many people. It puts a constant strain on the hair resulting in damage and in most cases hair loss around the area being held by the restrictive bands. Alternate your styling methods with several that don't require your hair to be pulled back tightly.

Hair styling tools as well as perms and hair dyes also take a toll on your hair. All the manufactured chemicals and extreme heat are just too much for the hair shaft. Repeated use can cause the hair to eventually start thinning.

One little known cause of hair loss is medication. Many people never have problems with the issue until they begin a new medication regiment, but they never make the connection. A lot od medicines list hair loss as a side effect. You can battle this cause be asking your doctor for alternative treatments or ways you can prevent the side effect.

Lastly, make sure to get regular check-ups. Many different medical conditions present hair loss as a symptom. This is usually caused by changes in hormone levels, but can be caught early or prevented all together with regular physicals.

If your hair is already thinning and falling out you shouldn't get overly concerned just yet. Many of these causes can be pin pointed very easily and reversed in time to save your hair. In a lot of cases if the problem is caught soon enough the hair will even grow back with no problems in the future.

Baldness Cure Discovered - From Baldness To Hairiness.

By John Farikani

I started losing hair on my head when I was young enough to be still growing hair. So I figured that if I waited for a good decade or two a cure for my premature hair loss would have been discovered by a few overzealous scientists whose long hours of thinking hard resulted in them losing their hair too. This dream came true when a cure was discovered. The baldness cure discovered has helped a lot of men to overcome their balding and carry on with their once normal lives.

A brief explanation on how baldness ensues is important in making any forms of treatment effective. What you must know is that amino acids (the building blocks of protein) in follicles of hair are converted to keratin through a complicated biological process. Keratin is the substance that the body uses to make hair. But sometimes hair loss is caused by a diet deficient in Vitamin B; Vitamin A and folic acid. These vitamins are very useful when it comes to facilitating and maintaining hair growth. And recently DHT has been blamed for hair loss. DHT is a hormone that blocks hair follicles and prevents hair from growing.

From that departure the common cure, Minoxidil, has been advocated as a potential cure for baldness. Minoxidil works effectively by hampering the harmful effects of DHT by weakening its effect on hair follicles. So when Minoxidil is released into the bloodstream it fights the effects of DHT and restores the growth process associated with hair follicles.

On top of this you can consider a diet made up of vitamins A and B. These two vitamins are very essential when you want to facilitate the growth of hair as well as to strengthen it. Vitamin A is derived from eggs; milk; cheese and carrots. On the other hand vitamin A is extracted from foods such as whole grain; soyabeans and yeast.

Mustard oil mixed with a certain amount of Henna is a herbal cure that has been advocated for by a lot of naturalists. Mustard oil and Henna will definitely be able to strengthen hair follicles to prevent them from breaking easily. When this combination is taken over a longer period of time it will be able to actually promote the growth of hair in bald areas.

Very recently I discovered this one herb called Saw Palmetto. Now Saw Palmetto works in a way similar to Minoxidil in that it fights the harm of DHT. When this herb is used hampers the conversion of testosterone to DHT. Therefore once you take this you will instantly notice how your hair starts to grow again. But I. 'd like to assume that DHT only affects men more than women since men have more testosterone.

Good luck.

Causes of Hair Loss | What are they?

By Allan Johns

Over the years medical researchers have found there are multiple causes of thinning hair. It could be you may suffer from alopecia areata, effuviums, congenital hypotrichosis, scarring alopecia, or maybe even have a fungal infection.

You may also be affected by hairloss according to your sex i.e. male-pattern or female-pattern hair loss.

There is also hairloss associated with other diseases, conditions and adverse medication reactions, as well as hair thinning problems resulting from the stress in your every day life.

Visiting a specialist is perhaps the most important thing to do so they may ascertain the correct cause of your problem before embarking on any form of action. Once you have a diagnosis, treatment should begin.

It is essential that you provide your doctor or dermatologist with an accurate account of all your symptoms and the length of time during which you have been suffering from excessive thinning hair.

A list of the foods you eat, all the symptoms you have been experiencing, and the amount of stress in your life etc will all help your doctor to identify the condition you happen to be suffering from.

The term effluviums means, "outflow". The condition known as effluviums is a type of hairloss that affects different phases of the hair growth cycle.

A second cause of hair loss, Alopecia Areata, is a type of condition affected by your own immune system. The hair follicles are where all hair growth begins and it is here where Alopecia Areata attacks. Although it occurs at any age, this type of thinning happens most often in those younger than age 20.

Cicatrical alopecia, also known as scarring alopecia, leaves behind scar tissue over the scalp after first causing irreversible damage to the hair follicles.

Congenital Hypotrichosis, a genetic disease and therefore not technically a hairloss condition, prevents hair growth in the affected area. Sadly, this type of problem does not usually respond to treatment. Sufferers either accept baldness or resort to hair pieces or other forms of head cover including colourful bandanas and wigs.

Fungal Infection is another of the causes of thinning hair and is most commonly seen in children and teenagers. Easily treated with antifungal medications, the hair will grow back after treatment.

There are a multitude of causes of thinning hair so it is important to correctly identify and understand the type of problem you are dealing with personally before deciding what course of action to embark on.

You will find most of the problems are easily diagnosed and your doctor will be able to talk to you about the hair loss type you have and support you in choosing the best form of treatment available.

Nisim Newhair Biofactors Have PROVEN Hair Loss Solutions

By Mike Jones

Hair loss has long been a topic of concern for both men and women. Drugs and chemicals have been used in many preparations, often without substantial results. Now, natural ingredients in products from Nisim Newhair Biofactors can provide a safe, proven and natural hair loss solution.

The main culprit that causes hair to fall out is Di-hydro-testosterone or DHT. This is a chemical compound which occurs naturally in the body, but can sometimes occur excessively on the scalp.

Hair follicles can often be overly sensitive to DHT that can cause shrinking and clogging after prolonged exposure. This can result in the follicle ceasing to function altogether. Other factors, like sweat, oils, dirt and such that tend to gather on the scalp, speed the progression. Slowing down, or even stopping this process, however, can be achieved by many people in this situation.

A product called Nisim Newhair Biofactors has the unique ability to actually stop loss and reverse thinning for the majority of those who have used it. This hair care solution is different from similar products in that has been proven to work for the bulk of those tested in clinical trials.

In fact, more than 85 percent of those tested showed dramatic regrowth results after using this system of shampoos and conditioners. Participants in this group experienced a 30 percent or greater increase in their volume of hairs.

To produce this effect, Nisim Newhair Biofactors shampoos and conditioners include special nutrients with a botanical base that successfully inhibit the body's DHT output where applied. This system also penetrates into the scalp to insure that harmful build-ups are removed and neutralized by these distinctive compounds.

A unique combination of ingredients provide herbs, amino acids and nutrients to the scalp that balance and stabilize the follicle environment. Plus, cleaner hair comes as a part of the process.

The deep-cleansing qualities of these shampoos control thinning hair and contribute to healthier and stronger follicles. This all natural compound solution appears to be more effective than minoxidil (Rogaine) and has no side effects found in 17 years of usage.

Completely drug free, the entire natural ingredient product line is formulated to be safe for all types of hair and for color treated hair as well. So, for men or women with either dry or oily hair, this system has whatever suits your needs.

The feeling you get from knowing your scalp is truly healthy and clean is reason enough to use this shampoo alone. However, the fact that Nisim Newhair Biofactors could reduce or reverse your hair loss makes it an item you should definitely consider closely.

Discover the Hair Loss Treatments For Men

By Anthony Devlin

Many men are losing their hair slowly but steadily. They suffer from an inherited condition which is officially known as androgenetic alopecia but is more commonly known as male pattern baldness. Because hair loss can be so traumatic, many men refuse to admit it is happening until their hair is almost completely gone. Men may often feel that they look old or that they are less attractive if they lose their hair. The good news is that male hair loss treatments are often very effective. What the men may not realize is that they are more effective when there is still a good amount of hair still on the head. Whether you are just noticing a thinning out of your hair or there is a definite change in your hair line, you should look at these methods of hair loss treatment in order to keep the problem from getting worse.

If surgery is something you want to leave as a last resort, there are effective topical products you can use. Most, regardless of the brand name, are simply variations of the drug Minoxidil. One of the more well known brand names of this generic drug is Rogaine. Topical products such as Rogaine are rubbed into the scalp and allowed to sit for a specific amount of time in order to achieve hair regrowth.

Although it is very effective, it can also cause skin irritation because of the alcohol base that the product uses. This can often be aggravated by the long amount of time that the product has to sit on the skin itself. And you may find that you need to keep paying for these pricey products because once you stop using them, your hair loss will resume and any new hair will fall out again.

If you don't want to continually pay out money for hair products you should consider a permanent, surgical solution. Three surgical options are hair flap surgery, hair transplants and hair plugs. If you are having hair transplants and hair plugs, this means that strips of skin or small sections of hair are being taken from elsewhere on the head or body and moved to areas where the hair has thinned out the most. Hair flaps are more drastic and involve stretching skin which has a good hair covering in order to cover areas where hairless skin has been removed. When the hair flap is sewn into place, the hairless areas have been obscured and your hair looks full and thick again.

All of these may sound drastic and all have the risk of side effects. These can be more of a possibility if the procedures are not performed by a licensed and experienced professional. An individual undergoing hair replacement surgery may react negatively to the anaesthetic being used, or any other prescribed medications. There is also the risk of infection in any surgical procedure. The final risk, which is more of a problem with hair flaps or hair transplants is that there can be noticeable scarring as well.

Hair loss is so devastating that many men will still opt to undergo treatments regardless of the side effects. By knowing about the advantages and problems of each method you can be confident that the method you choose is the one that is the right one for you.

How Baldness and Testosterone Are Related - Start Your Hair Growing Again

By John Farikani

There is an inescapable relationship between baldness and testosterone. It is typical of research scientists to want to create links between certain medical conditions and biological attributes. There is absolutely no real problem with this, if anything it is very helpful to know that your sickness emanates from some sort of factors. Very recently a link has been drawn between baldness and testosterone. This development has made it very possible to find a solution to the predicament of baldness.

Testosterone is a hormone in the human body that is responsible for the development of male sexual characteristics even though it is also found in women but in far smaller quantities. Now testosterone is converted into DHT, a derivative hormone of testosterone that travels around the body just like any other hormone. But unfortunately DHT does more harm than good. DHT stands for dihydro-testosterone and it is manufactured in the prostate gland and in glands in the scalp or head.

When DHT becomes concentrated in skin pores just beneath hair follicles such pores become clogged with DHT. Now when DHT is clogged in skin pores the growth path of hair follicles is inevitably blocked. Over time such hair follicles are unable to sustain the growth of hair and with time ones hair weakens.

People who fully understand how hair loss is triggered know better than to ill-treat their hair. This is because once the hair follicles have been invaded by DHT no more hair will ever grow again. So if you comb dry hair the hair stuck to the comb is perhaps the last you'll ever see of your hair.

Drawing a link between baldness and testosterone has been of added value dermatologists. When it finally came to finding a cure for hair loss it was Minoxidil that was most effective. Minoxidil works by making DHT inactive and thus stopping its harmful effects on the human body. Therefore the relationship between baldness and testosterone is drawn as a way to cure hair loss.

Another reason for establishing a link between baldness and testosterone is the Saw Palmetto cure for baldness. Saw Palmetto is another form of treatment for baldness. Saw Palmetto actually works by stopping the process of converting testosterone to DHT. So once Saw Palmetto hits your blood stream the process of conversion stops almost immediately and hair can start growing again.

Against popular belief too much testosterone doesn't really bring about a hair thinning sex drive. The link between baldness and testosterone is at the hormonal level where hormones are used to create hormones that bring about hair loss, nothing more.

What Could Be the Reasons For Your Hair Loss?

By Amelie R Armstrong

Hair loss can be a real problem because not only is it embarrassing, it's also a real pain and it can sometimes be a serious concern. However, if you're aware of the leading causes of hair loss then you should be able to narrow your symptoms down to find out exactly what's wrong. Losing hair is never a good thing, although naturally we lose around 80 hairs a day.

Whatever you're looking for, it shouldn't be a problem to find items that are worthwhile. There is so much available on today's market that you'll be spoilt for choice. It can sometimes be hard to decide on what is right for your needs though. You'll have to take your time while you're browsing the web to ensure that you're aware of everything on today's market.

Also, chances are, if you're experiencing side effects like losing hair then you're likely to be experiencing other side effects as well. Another leading cause is poor diet. It's surprising how much our bodies need in the way of nutrition and a poor diet of high fat and low fiber foods can really cause problems with your overall health, not just your hair.

There are plenty of hair loss treatments available but most of the time it's caused by too much of something or too little of something. For example, too much hormone (the pill) or too little (a deficiency of some sort). It's important to speak to your doctor if you're ever concerned about rapid loss of hair.

You will then need to consider the type of options available on today's market and do some research to find out which options are best suited to your needs. It can be quite easy to find what you're looking for if you hit the internet and have a good look around.

Just be sure to take care of your body and remember that Google is not necessarily the best place to find information about health. Speak to your doctor and your friends and see if you can come up with a reasonable solution - don't worry too much about it because stress can make it worse!

Mirror, Mirror On The Wall, Please Tell Me How To Stop Those Balding Signs Now!

By John Farikani

Have you come to hate looking into the mirror because you can no longer deny the telltale balding signs you see in front of you every day? That's good, because it means you are no longer in denial. You can go on combing your hair in different ways and pretending it's not happening or you can continue reading and learn how you can reverse hair loss with a simple treatment.

If you are losing your hair, you are not alone. In fact, if you are a man, you are among tens of millions in the United States who are losing their hair through male pattern baldness. While your case may be more or less severe than others, you still can do something about it, so why not start sooner than later?

It's not only men who helplessly sit back and watch their hair disappear. Women suffer from it as well. Women don't usually lose their hair from one area alone but from all over. It's heartbreaking for a woman to see her rich, lustrous head of hair gradually thin out until she is embarrassed to be seen in public without a hat or a wig.

There is now good news for both men and women who want to get their hair back. To understand it better, we need to look at what causes the loss of hair. A natural hormone called DHT is the culprit. What DHT (dihydrotestostrone)does is go through the bloodstream and attach itself to the follicles of the hair and suffocate them. There never used to be a treatment for balding signs, but now there is a safe, effective and proven treatment!

There are several trade names for it, but Minoxidil is the active ingredient in any reversal treatment. It was originally marketed as an oral drug to treat high blood pressure until it was discovered that if applied topically, it has the remarkable ability to reverse the causes of male pattern baldness.

While baldness and severe hair thinning usually occur in women after menopause and does not have the same cause as male baldness, Minoxidil has proven that it works for women as well as men.

The FDA did not approve Minoxidil for use as a hair loss treatment until after it underwent rigorous studies and proved its efficacy and safety. Now it is possible to get a hair regrowth treatment with this as its active ingredient without a prescription. Instead of seeing balding signs every time you look into the mirror, you will see more hair appearing!

When Hairloss Steps In After Pregnancy

By Peter Meier

Oh dear, not only do you look different after having gone through a lot of pain, now your hair wants to fall out. Naturally y you are worried and need to know if this is normal. Fortunately it is and most women goe through the same problem. You have grown a lot more hair during pregnancy because your hormones have increased. Hormone production is now normalizing and whether you like it or not your hair is going back down to the level of growth as before pregnancy.

No woman likes to loose hair, especially not at that quantity. It's bad enough to see the hair gowing on an every day basis. The little hair we lose feels like going bald. Losing hair by the fistful is just too much for most women to handle.

In our society, baldness for women is a lot worse than for men. It's more socially acceptable for men to be bald, while hair is a largely defining characteristic for most women. But societal rules aside, women might feel sickened by their hair loss, feeling as if they're degenerating from some kind of disease.

But hair loss after pregnancy is nothing to be gravely worried about and it's okay to shed like a dog. There's no real cure for pregnancy hair loss, but it's not really something to cure. The only thing you can do about hair loss after pregnancy is to wait until your hormones balance out. In the meantime, you can take care of your hair as much as possible so that you don't leave gross trails of hair in your wake. You can either try to lessen the amount of hair that falls out overall, or you can try to not shed everywhere. Brushing and washing hair makes hair fall out more, so you might do it less often, but it can also get most of the shed hair to come out at that point so that it won't bother you as much during the day.

It could be that your hair still feels different, even after everything is back to normal. Your hormones may have changed a lot of things in your body permanently. It may not be much, but it could be that for instants you texture has changed and there is no way of reversing it. That the way our body makes things work. It may change again with another pregnancy.

Valuable Information On Balding Spots

By John Farikani

The moment you start losing the hair on your head you must be cautious that the loss of hair does not worsen. For those who don't have the right information this simple instruction can e very difficult to understand. So without the right advice on preventing and treating balding spots the bald will continue to be famed for being insecure. Luckily enough there has been progress in the department of hair loss that considerably revolutionises the future of the bald and insecure.

To understand how treatments and cures work it is crucial to know something called DHT. DHT is a hormone created from testosterone that blocks the skin pores through which hair follicles grow. So the moment this hormone enters the bloodstream hair growth stops almost immediately and balding ensues. The process of balding is thus very interlinked to such a hormonal imbalance.

For those out there who haven't had balding spots and are worried if they're going to have them i would strongly advise them to improve the nature of their diet. This is because there are certain nutrients that encourage the growth and strengthening of hair strands all over the body. Vitamins A and B as well as folic acid are good sources of such nutrients. If you're experiencing hair loss you must ensure that you eat vitamin A from soyabeans and whole wheat. Vitamin B is derived from carrots; eggs; milk and cheese. Having a diet like this will significantly stop further hair loss.

But for the male whose eager to be admired once again by flirtatious women there has been a great breakthrough. There is a chemical known as Minoxidil that is used to revive the growth of hair where it stopped growing. If this was unleashed during the time of Jesus the scriptures might have been written differently. The reason is that it works like magic by killing DHT, the hormone that stops hair growth. Once DHT is out of the way it is only natural for hair to start growing again.

And even though medicines like Minoxidil have amazing powers using them won't bear much fruit if you're reckless in the way that you handle your hair. Make sure that you don't comb your hair when it's dry, only do so when it's wet and moist. If you comb it whilst it's dry the obvious result is that the breaking of hair follicles damages skin pores. So whilst you're taking Minoxidil the pores will still remain damaged and unable to channel fresh hair to the surface. Take care of your hair if you want to derive the most benefits out of hair loss treatments and cures.

The process of converting testosterone to DHT is hampered by a herb called Saw Palmetto. If you take this herb the manufacture of DHT stops instantly and so will the extension of your balding spots. Take a good portion of this herb together with Mustard Oil and Henna to get a better overall effect. Mustard Oil and Henna are very effective when it comes to making your hair strong enough to counteract balding spots.

I wish you the very best.

Solutions For People Who Are Thinning And Balding

By John Farikani

If your hair is thinning and balding there are many things you can do about it. The best thing you can do is start educating yourself about hair, and baldness, whether it is female pattern baldness for male pattern baldness. Having a better understanding about the topic will help you to deal with the problem and learn about the various treatments that can help you.

For one thing, you will learn why some people are destined to lose their hair and why others are not affected. Although we all know that genetics play a role in hair loss, we now understand that stress is also a culprit. But one of the major culprits in this ever-growing problem is DHT. That's right, it is a substance that is naturally produced in your body.

For those people who were thinning and balding, other than the aforementioned problems, there is a substance that your body is producing. That is causing this problem. This substance is known as DHT. Thankfully, the fact that it has been identified can help us to find the right solutions to our problems.

Because everyone is different, some solutions may not work for certain people, but may work very well in others. One product that you can use that has shown great results is called minoxidil. It is in the form of a solution that is applied directly onto the scalp, treating the follicles. It's purpose is to allow the blood supply to reach the follicles once again.

That is the entire problem with DHT: it makes blood supply difficult to get to the follicles. If there isn't enough blood supply, the follicles suffocate. This in turn causes them to weaken, hence producing unhealthy hair. Then, very thin hair is produced in the place of healthy thick hair.

If DHT is left alone, it will eventually choke all the follicles to the point of killing them off. That is how permanent balding happens in its permanent form. Unfortunately, there really is no going back when you come to this level.

You can stop this, but you must act. Along with the minoxidil solution, you should go further by focusing on your diet and other methods.

Doing so has left many people in a situation where they are more content than ever before. In using these recommendations, more people had more positive results than any other methods. They had ever tried. They have quickly resolved their problems of thinning and balding.

By John Farikani

Noticed in the mirror that your hair loss is getting worse, and you need help for hair loss baldness treatment? Does your hair feel much thinner? It's a sure bet that you realize that your hair is thinning, and it is not a good feeling. You are almost afraid to comb it because you know you're going to find more hair on your comb! There is help to stop your hair loss. Going bald does not have to happen to you.

Millions of people like you, are also facing early baldness or hair loss. Here are some factors of losing your hair. A poor diet, lacking the nutrients to maintain healthy hair, hereditary traits, aging, and sickness. But the main reason for hair loss is hormonal change as you age. The hormone Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is responsible for premature hair loss. DHT attaches itself to hair follicles, and depletes the nutrients that hair needs to be able to grow.

There are many treatments for hair loss, and some work such as herbal remedies, Saw Palmetto, and vitamin and mineral supplements. Then there are painful hair treatments such as hair plugs, and transplants. But there is one that everyone is talking about, and finding hair loss treatment help with Minoxidil.

This is a very strong drug that the FDA has approved for hair loss baldness treatment. Minoxidil has been deemed clinically successful in stopping thinning hair. It stops DHT in its tracks. It prevents DHT from sticking to the hair follicle, and giving it a chance to grow healthy hair.

Compared to other forms of treatment, Minoxidil is the easiest, and most effective way in preventing a person from hair loss. When the recommended dosage is applied to the scalp, it is quickly absorbed. Hair follicles quickly begin to re-grow.

Recommended Ways To Stop The Balding Process

By John Farikani

For many people, losing their hair is a reality. The best way to stop the balding process is to understand hair and its every phase. In fact, there are three phases: the growth, the thinning phase and the falling out phase.

Dihydrotestostrone or DHT is the substance that interferes with the regrowth, or what occurs in phase 1. This interference may cause a significantly reduced growth or none at all. Slight interference is what causes the thinning of hair, where as a higher level of interference will cause baldness.

The DHT substance finds its way to the follicles and begins this balding process by prohibiting blood to get to the follicles. This interference, depending on how great it is will cause the hair follicles to produce thinner hair.

When the blood supply has been compromised, the follicles cannot function properly. Therefore, the hair is not permitted to reach the regrowth stage. So in essence, the natural life of hair falls out in stage three and never grows again.

Minoxidil is a substance that is recommended for hair loss. This topical solution stops the production of DHT. Therefore, the blood required in the follicles finds its way there, giving the nutrients necessary to grow new hair.

The point is, immediate action is of essence, if you are going to stop hair loss from progressing. If you delay the treatment, you may have missed the boat. The hair follicles that were not able to breath suffered too much damage and may not revive to create new hair. On the other hand, if you treat it fast enough, you may resolve your problem. The fact is that this is the best chance to revive follicles and enable them to continue production.

After six months of treatment, people suffering from hair loss will start to see some results. Having said that, you should remain patient, as it does take time. But because it takes so much time, you must use the right products for the situation. Failure to do so may just cause you to waste precious time.

Therefore, take quick action, if you have noticed more hair in your comb, in your sink, or on your pillow. This ingredient in the breakthrough solution that has saved many people from going completely bald and from encouraging new hair growth in these people is extremely effective. Additionally, when used in combination with natural herbs and vitamins, it becomes a whole new ballgame, slowing and even stopping the balding process.

A Simple, Effective, And Fast Working Baldness Drug

By John Farikani

There are many baldness drug and supplement regimens available today. Most of them claim that they can help grow hair that has been lost over time, and yet you find that the results are suspect at best. This is generally because they claim to deal with all types of hair loss rather than offering specific hair loss remedies.

Some loss of hair can be rectified and other loss might not be rectified. You simply just can't treat all types of loss, and therefore you have to understand the cause of the problem that you're dealing with. Both genders have difficulties with the basic pattern of lost hair that is the most common among victims of alopecia.

Pattern baldness is the most common form of early loss of hair. It usually starts in a readily identifiable pattern. The growth circle of the head is often the most impacted areas in the beginning stages. Sometimes the temples and the forehead will follow suit. This type of thinning is treatable if you jump on a good treatment early in the process. You don't want to wait if you are starting to notice signs of pattern baldness.

A baldness drug or its equivalent can address this type of issue because it is one of the most treatable forms of thinning. It is caused by excessive DHT, which is a naturally occurring hormone. As this hormone increases, the ability to continually grow new hair follicles becomes compromised. Thus, if you can deal with the DHT hormone you can avoid total hair loss.

Of course, this is assuming that you are treating the symptoms as early as possible. You can't hold off on this situation and then try to correct it after you have lost more than half of your hair. If you start treatment at the first sign of thinning you have a much stronger chance of retaining and even getting your hair to grow again. Waiting for too long can create a significant problem when trying to use various available treatments.

Along with the need to control DHT, you will also need a host of other vitamins and supplement options that can often be found in many of the hair growth products that treat the problem naturally.

If you combine the treatments of the supplements and the medication you can often find that you will at the very least be able to salvage the remaining hair you have. In some cases, the baldness drug will help to start the growth process all over again.
