Hair today Gone Tommorrow

Balding is not something anyone would look forward to. Even though we are unable to stop aging we can help ourselves when it comes to hair loss.

Our hair does get thinner as we age and more for some than others but with today's medications and creams etc we may be able to slow this down.

I have looked into many hair loss remedies and have found some that are better than others in how they say the can slow down hair loss and some even say they will help your existing hair grow more and stronger. I do not know about that but have heard of some of the good some of them do.

Methods That Keep You From Balding & Rapidly Increase Hair Regrowth

By Angel Dunn

Baldness impacts men as they age. Based on what the College of Maryland Medical center asserts, almost 25 percent of men begin to suffer from baldness by the point they are Thirty years old, and two out of three men are either absolutely bald or have a particular bald pattern when they're 60 years old. Even though alopecia with men can most be attributed to aging, psychological stress will also accelerate alopecia. Some men do not mind being bald, others care enough to be dealt with.

There's an FDA licensed solution called Minoxidil, which is available without visiting a doctor to treat male pattern hair-loss. The solution is available in two strengths and either liquid or froth and is to be applied directly to the scalp two times each day to excite the expansion of new hair and forestall more baldness. Based primarily on Mayo Clinic research, new hair that grows with minoxidil treatment might be more thin but typically it may be satisfactory to cover hairless areas. Minoxidil treatment works to grow new hair only while actively using the product ; after you stop the treatment hair growth will stop.

Male-pattern hair-loss may also be treated with finasteride which is available by prescription. Finasteride is a medication that's taken by mouth daily. It not only avoids future hair fall but also enables replenishment. The treatment must be taken for a few months, according to the highly rated Mayo Clinic. According to MedlinePlus, if using finasteride for one year does not end up in new hair growth, continuing to take it at this point is not much use.

The hormone dihydrotestosterone causes hair follicles to shrink and hair to fall out in men as a reaction to testosterone conversion but finasteride halts this conversion. Finasteride may cause lower sex drive and function in rare circumstances.

One can treat hair-loss with hair transplants or scalp reduction. When a hair transplant is done, a cosmetic surgeon removes skin plugs that have a couple of hairs from areas of the head that contain hair, and implant them where hair loss is. Many appointments could be required to finish a hair transplant, so it can be quite dear. You might experience agony with this method.

Scalp reduction, which costs equally as much and is distressing, is composed of cutting over the parts of the scalp that does not have hair and putting together the parts of the scalp that contain hair to close the space. The two operative strategies are not totally safe as there's a fear of infection as well as blemish.
